Who does your family support?

Mum is an Eels/Warriors fan. Dad is a Sea Eagles/Warriors fan. Grandparents are Warriors fans. Sister is the odd one out, but since she moved to Melbourne, she is jumping the Storm bandwagon.

Dad was a passionate Bears fan, now doesn't have an interest in the game.

One brother is a huge Broncos fan and has been since he was young. Another is a part-time Roosters fan due to geographical reasons.

The youngest brother is now a Knights fan after years of convincing.

The missus's family are all Dogs fans, but she has no interest in sport. She's from the Shire though so I've developed a soft-spot for the Sharks.

Dad - Dragons
Mum - Was a Bears fan till the merge, now Parra
Sister - Roosters
Me - Raiders
Two brothers, one Bronco, one Cowboy.
Wife - Sharks
Daughter - Parra, my mother was a bad influence on her.
Son - Raiders, I managed to convince him early on.
Sister in law - South's
It does help make the season more interesting as there is usually someone to send a friendly stirring message to, although last season I wanted to turn the phone off for most Raiders games. :)

Nan - The Berry's (aka Canterberry) Born and Bred in Lidcombe
Dad - Wests (until superleague - then West Tigers won a GF and his interest came back slightly)
Dads younger bro - Wests
Dads older bro- Doggiesbro
Mum - Para
Sis & other Bro's - couldn't give a stuff
1 Cousin - Raiders

Me Manly Since I new what footy was (but have soft spot for Knights/Cronulla)- Think I was created rather then born into this bunch of gimps.

# Very different to AFL where they all follow the same team after generations. I put this down to we love the game first and club second, plus SOO has been so successful that it has helped the game become love affair with leaguers. Also I know plenty that only go NSW or QLD, mainly girls.

Even if every team was canned and they started again with a new comp new teams, I'd still watch league. (Would be pissed off for ages though)

Grandfather is a bunnies supporter, one of my Uncles is a Tigers supporter, my other Uncle and three cousins are Eels, another cousin is a Bronco, and another is a Dog, rest of the familydont support anyone.

I reckon I was born to be an Eels fan on account of my last name being "eel" backwards.

Well I did , my old man was a Newtown supporter , so I supported the Jets. My brothers never really got to see Newtown so once they got old enough they went their own ways.

Once the Jets got punted we went our seperated ways. My old man followed the local team West Magpies and I followed Chicka to the Raiders.

Now my eldest ( 16 ) is a Raiders fan and Im working on my 5 year old.

I'll include the missus , who doesnt like league since she met me , but she was an Eels fan when she was younger , but Ive seen her cheer the Raiders on when we go to games.

All family members that actually follow the sport are Broncos fans.

The rest support whoever the Broncos are playing.

Forgot my cousins north of the border. All broncos in brisbane.

Surprised that most families seem very diverse in their teams, at least so far.

Great Grandpa + Great Grandma emigrated from England and lived in Wiley Park, so they were Canterbury fans. My Grandpa was raised in Lakemba (before the Mediterranean Descendants turned up as he likes to remind me), so he's Canterbury. Mum was born out at Tamworth, but Pa passed the love for the Bulldogs on to her.

My Poppy was from Newcaslte + Grandma was from Leeton, but they spent their holidays at Manly so followed the Sea Eagles. Dad grew up following St George and Manly, but after marrying Mum he followed Canterbury (must of been a dowry I guess).

My younger brother and I grew up in Penshurst, so we followed the local team which is St George (my Grandpa still hasn't forgiven me for doing that and not following Canterbury). My brother also lived in Newtown for years so he gets down to Henson Park occasionally and watches the Bluebags run around, even has a jumper from a few years ago so he's keen on them.

All Fourex family members AND extended relatives are Broncos fans........there is no other team worthy

other than Redcliffe (in the old BRL days)

My 6 yr old son piped up last year and said he liked the Dragons

We all took turns to beat him

He won't make that mistake again. ;-)

Dad was a Dogs fan along with most of his siblings and his parents. Mum went for Wests (not seriously) but converted to Dogs once she and dad married.

The missus is a Dragons fan as a result of her family lines as well.

Whole family are bears fans from way back when. Had a few relos play for them over the years, and the grand parents were born in the area.

One arm of the family bought a farm out near Windsor, so some of my cousins developed into panthers fans, but we don't hold that against them!

A couple of my nephews have chosen a team - a rooster and a Titan - but they both know who the Bears are, and they even come to NSO with my brother and I occasionally. I'm sure they'll carry on the family tradition one day again (hopefully!).
