Just wondering what people thought of any current or former players that you have met on a social occasion.

Over the years i have met many players and some are great blokes, while others are a bit full of themselves, just like everyday people.

Mark Graham was a absolute champion bloke who we drank and talked with for hours.

any others ??

I've met plenty and they're mostly wankers. Craig Fitzgibbon, Luke Stuart and Jason Death seemed great blokes though.

I've had a few experiences of chatting and/or sharing a beer with quite a few Broncos over the past few years, most of which has happened at after-match functions at the leagues club... a few at pubs around the place. I've found the nicest blokes to be:

Brett Seymour (he was AWESOME when I had a beer with him a few years ago, really nice guy)
Tallis
Webcke
Chief De Vere (Top bloke too, very quiet though)
Scott Prince
Brent Tate

Oh and Sammy Thaiday is a champ too. Used to sit about 6 rows behind us at Suncorp while he was a Clydesdales regular - always used to chat with us etc. before and after Broncos games throughout 2003 and 2004.

I was at the opening of Seage jeans about a 2 years ago and at the store was Sully,Bird,Nutley and Gallen

I had my sharks jersey on and Sully,Gallen and Nuts came up to me and started having a chat. Gallen asked the store girl for a texta so they could sign it for me.

Nuts was talking about his QLD duties whilst Gallen and Sully were talking to me about Raper and how the team is going.

Bird was the biggest prick he just stood back and refused to sign my jersey. The other three were top blokes, Considering that I didn't go up to them and they sore my jerseya nd made the effort to come to me and start up a conversation.

Volunteering on game day at Parramatta I've met most of the Eels players.

Quite a number of great blokes amongst them as well as the odd one or two who can be a bit rude at times.

Eric Grothe Sr is a true gentleman, always likes to have a yarn.

Mick Cronin, Ken Thornett, Bob O'Reilly, Steve Ella, Steve Edge are fantastic blokes to talk with and have a beer with as well.

Brian Carney is a decent enough fellow as well. Met him a few years ago while he was on holidays and staying with Matt Johns after a Parramatta game that Channel Nine were covering. When he played for the Knights at Parra he stopped and said hello when he saw me out the back of the stadium.

Ive met a few that really arent memorable either way, so no point going there.

Met Paul Whatuira and Chris heighno together once, Heighno was real chattty & friendly, fatz a bit more quiet.

Skando, Hodgo and the nicest bloke Ive ever met in league, Mark O'Neill = top bloke. Bump into Sirro a lot too, hes pretty personable.

Daniel Wagon, met him once, nothing good to say about him.

Played poker with Beetson at Canberra Casino before the Raiders V Roosters game last year, met most of the Roosters players at breakfast on game day...Ricky was awesome, he was the one who told the Maitre D to seat me in their private area (he saw me the day before when they were signing in wearing my Roosters gear) they were all top blokes and signed my gear for me without me asking.
