I think that Parra have given ourselves a real sniff....the Roosters game was the one we desperately needed, and to back it up with a big win last night given a fairly kind draw for the final three weeks and I hold out a small spark of hope, lol. We have the Dogs, who are woeful, at ANZ where we have a great record recently, and we have the Warriors at Parramatta where they haven't beaten us in literally years. We "should" win those two games, with the Dragons being our biggest hurdle IMO.

Personally, I still think we'll just miss out and I won't change my mind until such time as we make it...but the boys pulled their finger out and have given us a real sniff IMO.

EDIT-Just noticed Johnsy, we have your mob in two weeks not Brissie :p

I can't stop laughing

The top 7 I think are pretty much sorted.

Storm
Eagles
Sharks
Broncos
Roosters (might stay in front of Broncos)
Canberra
Dragons

Eels and Warriors fighting for the other spot in my opinion. The Knights will stuggle against the Storm and Broncos without Buderus. And the Panthers have the Warriors and Eagles to finish with so will probably finish on 27 max.

If the Eels and Warriors only manage one win each in the last two rounds, they have to be aware of the Tigers leap frogging them in the unlikely event they win a game (they have to win both and clear about 20 F/A difference between them and the Eels).

Titans are gone, have no doubt.

Season of what ifs imo, loses against Souths Tigers and Newcastle away earlier in the year when we had full strength side have hurt us more then the last 10 weeks with no players available imo.

Yeah....top 7 seem safe enough.

Warriors, Eels, Knights, Tigers and Panthers fighting to be dumped by the Storm.

Looking at the remaining draw, it's hard to say who will get it.

It is tough.

But I would put my money on the round 26 clash between the Eels and Warriors being a massive clash. The winner takes 8th spot.

Sea Eagles, Storm, Sharks, Roosters, Broncos, Raiders and Dragons will be there.
8th spot will be fought out between Knights, Eels, Warriors and Panthers.
If the Panthers somehow manage to win tonight I think they will get it, however if they lose they probably won't. Of the other 3 I don't know who will make it. Regardless, they will face the Sea Eagles or Storm in the first week and probably be knocked out.

In all honesty, only Warriors or Parra can make 8th. I just cant see Newwie making it with Buderis out. Round 26 (Parra V Warriors) should determine who loses in Melbourne in week 1.

Goodbye Newwie, Tigers, Penrith, Titans, Rabbitohs, Bulldogs and Cows

How Parra is still in with a chance is beyond me, they've been that sh*t.

It's the kind of thing that happens with a stacked deck of a draw. Having to only play Melbourne once (without their origin players) is damn close to a 6 point leg up over sides that have been disadvantaged during Origin and have had to play the Storm twice at full strength.

God I just hope Dragons don't finish up on 7th, they always seem to have wood on us even at Brookie.

Revised edition

Melbourne (Penrith, Newcastle, Rabbitohs) 34
Manly (Tigers, Titans, Penrith) 34
Cronulla (Tigers, NQ) 34
Roosters (Rabbitohs, Dragons) 30
Brisbane ( Bulldogs, Newcastle) 29
Canberra (NQ, Bulldogs) 28
St George (Eels, Roosters) 28
Warriors (Penrith, Eels) 26 <--------

slight chance
Newcastle (Storm, Brisbane) 26
Parramatta ( Dragons, Warriors) 26

The Warriors have a sh*te FA, -109 They have next to no chance.

IMO.

Roosters v Rabbits- If Chooks lose and they will come fifth.
Sharks v's Tigers- Nothing game. Sharks should win for a top 2 spot depending on Manly.
Knights v's Storm- Storm will win up to the Knights defense to try and keep the score low.
Cowboys v's Raiders- Raiders need to win this to stay away from seventh spot.
Dragons v's Eels- Massive game with the result being a major setback for a losing Dragons team. Say goodbye if Eels lose.
Warriors v's Panthers- Loser says goodbye.
Bulldogs v's Broncos- Broncs will win.
Manly v's Titans- Manly should win, still can't believe they let the Bunnies beat them.

After 26 rounds:

Storm
Manly
Sharks
Broncos
Roosters
Dragons
Canberra
Knights

Eels, Warriors to miss out on FA.

I can't see the knights getting 8th, they have to play the broncos and storm. One of the eels or warriors are garanteed 1 win as they play each other in the last round. So it will be out of those 2.

Warriors won't if Cleary continues f**king around with the halves.

Witty is an 80 minute player.

If the Roosters lose to Souths and the Broncos, Raiders and Dragons all win, the Roosters drop to seventh on the ladder.
