aah sh*t. i was using ladder predictor, it hadn't taken into account todays games yet. Well, sort of. It had counted them as played, but hadn't allocated points. Odd. Anyway that resulted in me manually changing my ladder to make sense but then using ladder predictor for the finals matches and forgetting to adjust accordingly. woops. Same result. Roosters to win every game and Dragons to be sh*thouse (just for Gaba).

The last time we played the Dragons well was in 2003, where we won a match similar to the next week's scenario 30-20. That spurred us on to a finals charge.

I really cannot see any other possibilities, I dont think the Knights (who I had finishing in 9th, their defence really is struggling atm) can force their way into 8th.

The Panthers have the Storm, Warriors in New Zealand and the Eagles - so I dont give them much hope at all.

I'd say the Knights would need to win three from three to make the eight, and they got a game against the Storm so that seems unlikely as well.

I am assuming that 30 points is going to be the top 8 cut off.
