A very Underrated Fullback is Andrew Walker right now. Nobody seems to be taking notice when he has been playing very well in a losing side.

Mate as a last line of defence, safeness under the high ball, and making metres and line breaks, no one comes close to Schifcofske and you know it.

LKine brakes i dont see his name on the top 10 line breakers i see Minichiello 10 Webb 6 but no sign of Schifcofske. and hes not the best at makeing meters not even close O'Daivs,Slater,Bowen,Horby,Minichello,Wesser,Hunt,Webb,Hodgson,Walker,Watts and patten all made more meters pre hit up the Schifcofske last week.
But yes he is one of the best uder the high ball. and he does take a lot of hit ups.

IMO Schif is most like lockyer than anyone, in the way that he often chimes in at 5/8th and trys to create

Brent Web comes in at 5/8 a lot as well.More the Schif

Not true. Being a Roosters fan and having watched all the games last year i can tell you that there was a ten game period in the middle of the season when Freddy was absolutely on fire and he was very good for the rest of the year until the shoulder injury slowed him down. He had plenty of stand-out performances, a couple i wont forget were the ones against Brisbane on Good Friday when he tore them apart and the one against Penrith in Rnd 21, the same game he did his shoulder.

I think people tend to overlook Freddy's performances last year, with most of the media focusing on Johns, Lockyer, Gower etc. But the bottom line is he streaked all of them in the main attacking stats. More tries, more line breaks, near the top of league (if not the top) in line break assists and did top the league in try assists.

Not bad for someone who didnt stand out much. ;-)

In that order. Mini is the current Fullback, and I love watching the kid play, BUT, His defence is very good, his running of the ball is Incredible, but he can not pick up a loose ball if his life depended on it. Too many idiots kick high to him, and never put him under pressure.

He has had it good , But not in big games, where the pressure is really on, and the Defence is in the Air with him, or along the ground.

Mini Might improve on it, But clumsy he is.

really, you are kidding if you say hes all class TODAY, because
1.he rarely plays
2.there are better fullbacks
3.when he does play, NOW, hes not a shade of what he used to be

Lockyer is not the greatest fullback ever. I believe Tim Brasher was better than him and Garry Jack was better than both of them. Then you have even greater players before them.

Lockyer doesn't play as a fullback in attack all the time, he plays as a 5/8. Minichiello gets the nod because he is a fullback through and through.

And it's only an opinion, don't go roasting people for having an opinion.
