I don't know if Locke is big enough to make a long term impact on firstgrade, but i've never seen a better player in under 20s.
The one game i've seen him live in NYC and the one game i've seen him live in firstgrade convinced me he is a freak of nature.

Nothing against Locke or Coote, who are both kids im huge fans of. Locke in particular has a real Xfactor about him and Coote could be anything with more size... I think they are all going to have long and very good NRL careers... Timmy Moltzen too.

But none of them at this stage of their careers can hold a candle to Josh Dugan

And Pete is 100% spot on, we're blessed in this area. Hayden Hodge will probably be one of the best fullbacks in NYC this year.

In this year's NYC, Malcolm Webster (Souths), Jake Mullaney (Wests Tigers) and Hayden Hodge (Canberra) will be the leading fullback contenders. The next bunch would probably be Elih Baillie (Cronulla), Neenan Simpson(Newcastle), Hughie Stanley (Sydney Roosters) and Nathan Massey (Canterbury).

Jarryd Hayne attack > Darius Boyd attack

Jarryd Hayne Defence < Darius Boyd defence

Jarryd stands out in his team because he is the best player there and is far ahead of everyone else. He is their star player. Dragons do not have a star player. Their ability is of about the same good standard from 1-17.

IMO.

In the NYC Malcolm Webster is a awesome fullback. He reminds me of Preston Campbell.

Dugan > Locke

Needs more Widdop....

Out of Dugan, Locke, Coote and Widdop; Dugan is the youngest. Only Dugan and Coote are eligible for the U20s this year. Just sayin'.

Dugan wins by default because he's had the best chance to show what he has got. Locke has had a few games on the wing, Coote really isn't physically ready yet. None of the other young fullbacks come close unless you want to include players like Darius Boyd and Jarryd Hayne. All of them were a class above the NYC, more so than the likes of Widdop and Mullaney who seem to get mentioned a lot.

Josh Dugan - the best young player of all time

I suppose you can't blame Canberra fans, like Tigers fans or Souths fans, or fans of clubs that rarely finish in the top half of the table, they need to wax lyrical about something.

Darius Boyd is better imo , hayne hasnt really done anything against good defensive teams who turned up to play in fact he goes missing
Queensland is not a good defensive team?

Hayne reading of the play in defense is very questionable
Like when he hammered Heather in the WC?

Gaba, you are a brainless f*cktard! Darius Boyd -:lol: As exciting as watchng a glacier move ffs!
