Who is the best young fullback in the game?

I have had massive defence for Josh Dugan on other forum when I've posed the same question.

Who is the better youngster out of Dugan or Locke?

I could throw a million stats up from Toyota Cup to NRL and progression into first grade to strongly make a case for Dugan, But I won't.

I have just always felt that Dugan is a far better player and always has been from Toyota Cup through to NRL. Watching games and looking at stats.

Considering Locke played primarily on the wing when he came into grade you cant really compare them.

Right now Dugan pretty easily. Though 2 or 3 years from now I reckon Kevin Locke will be better.

Locke and Dugan are better fullbacks than Moltzen. Moltzen is great though. Dugan and Locke probably couldn't play starting halfback, five-eighth, centre and fullback in first grade in their first two seasons, and well.

Put on muscle in his frame. Wont be injury prone therefore will pass both.

Locke and Dugan are better fullbacks than Moltzen. Moltzen is great though. Dugan and Locke probably couldn't play starting halfback, five-eighth, centre and fullback in first grade in their first two seasons, and well.

I can recall a match where Moltzen's positional play at the back was dreadful, may have been against Parra actually

I don't like all this praise heaped on Dugan. He hasn't put a foot wrong yet and was a standout for us last year in only his first season. I just pray he doesnt get a string of inujuries or off field incidents and such.

I will say that I have not seen a more confident and gutsy player at his age.

He has put a foot wrong last year and now.
He got dumped from FG training because of lack of attitude to training apparently.

On the field has been a standout , his attack really started to develop at the end od last year.

when kevin locke was actually properly given attacking and defensive situations i thought he was awesome, however seems that dugan has been at FB all year, i would say dugan just

Dugan needs to add five kg's to his frame so he can break the tackles and stop attackers more effectively.

I think he'll be awesome this year in a very good Raiders backline.
