Check my facts?

It says exactly what I claimed you dunce.

By the end of his career, Rogers had played well enough to displace Larkham. I know full well he wasn't that good at the role, but he actually contended the spot, and made larkham move to inside centre whilst on the field at the same time.

EXACTLY.WHAT.I.SAID.

he never moved Dykes or Healey to another position.

But then again, the Wallabies are a step down from the Sharks.

You made it sound like he pushed Larkham out full time. Realistically he was tried there as an EXPERIMENT and was dropped after 2 matches, with Larkham once again at 10 where he was for the vast majority of their tests together.

Rogers played State of Origin and Australia in League. He came back and played centre and 5/8th, bringing what he learned in union to league at the end of his career. Nice that an old timer could still play at 5/8th in the NRL. it's quite funny how some eratic form at the NRL level in that position is accepted by you but being dropped from the Wallabies for a couple test experiment isn't.

No, you assumed an inferrence because you're a rah-rah with an inferiority complex. I said he earned the right to displace larkham. he did that by his performance in the shitty12/14 as the NSW 5/8.

Yep. The sharks never experimented with Rogers ahead of Dykes of Healey though.

Rogers played State of Origin

On the wing

and Australia in League.

On the wing

He came back and played centre and 5/8th,

The latter is what started the line of dialogue. He was finally put at 5/8 in a team that had no depth, and he wasn't up to it.

Not good enough for 5/8 in thr NRL, good enough for 5/8 in the second strongest side in the world of RU.

And that's not to be unexpected. There is more talent, more depth, in the NRL than there is in the whole world of RU.

bringing what he learned in union to league at the end of his career. Nice that an old timer could still play at 5/8th in the NRL.

if you paid attention, what he brought back from RU wasn't up to scratch and they quickly made ammends by recruiting zilman and sezer because they realised Roger was not, never was and never would be a RL calibre playmaker.

He was however the best player of the competition in the shitty 12 the season he was 5/8.

it's quite funny how some eratic form at the NRL level in that position is accepted by you but being dropped from the Wallabies for a couple test experiment isn't.

Desperation drove the titans as they were an expansion side.

As I said Rogers kept bleating at the Sharks "I'm a 5/8,get me off the wing'... he probably had this over-exaggerated opinion of himself going to a RU school.. Newport was it?

NRL coaches know who has talent, and who doesn't and is better off playing RU.

Rogers was never good enough, told so when his team had depth, and thrown in to prove it when desperation prevailed.

He didn't just prove or disprove he could play 5/8 for two games with the Wallabies, he proved he was up to it in the shitty 12, where he played a whole season. Playing poorly for 2 games can be just as much due to the coach and system.

I'd prefer to see that million $'s invested in Jnr RL to bring through the next 10 Folau's, each to their own.

Why not do both.

Also should give every club 100k a season extra outside the cap to sign as many young union players as they can get.
