Who should be captain?

Who should lead the team out?

Wado - absolute legend and loyal servant of the club, long time deputy to The Prince of Sharkness, spends considerable time out injured, has had blown a few questionable ref challenges
or
Finucane - previous C experience at the Storm, training beast, nonstop machine, referee whisperer extraordinaire, carries zero "Cronullafied" baggage

Answers should be in the context of which captain you think is more likely to result in another Sharks premiership

I think the way that Fitz appears to be working is loyalty and respect. He will stick with Wade as a nod to the club and the player. Seeing Wade on the sidelines supporting the team at all matches send Sa message that he is the captain.
I think Dale will be the on field follow me leader but Wade is still the spiritual leader and Fitz will defer to that.

Finucane - can’t see Wade being here past this year and why give him a year when there is every chance he may be re-injured or as some others have put it “will work his way back via Newtown”

^^ agree 100% with all of the above, bar shadow

Finnucane doesnt need the (c) to show leadership and mentor the young. his natural demeanor on and off the field lead to his qualitys as a player.

Wades earned the captaincy through being a fence post for the club in a 10 year flood and still stood. he defies what this club is being built around

100% how Sladden (and others) put it. I’ll defer to Fitz’ wisdom on this (again). Wade should be Cap this year when he returns, but DF will be another cap’n, just without the C . And without the ego. As he was when Cammy was still pulling on the stockings @storm.

200% Stakey! Throw in Cam Mc & we got leaders out the wazoo

Wade is the leader of the club - he proves this by being on the sideline with the team during games. Shows it means something to him and I'm sure the other players notice / appreciate it.

However, Im sure Wade won't mind Dale helping him lift the trophy at the end of the GF!! :)

Last couple of years I would have said anyone but Wade. There was too much pressure and he was trying to do too much

This year he has Feefs, Finucane, McInnes, Moyza, Tolsa who are already leaders and probably a few emerging. It's not as pressured a job now

Will be Wade.
