Who sold the Dragons the calendar with a missing August?

Next few weeks will be interesting, Chooks game could make or break them.

Also it isn't JUST Broncos fans labeling the Dragons as chokers, every club is doing it.

For mine, this is nothing but a gee up. Just like the Broncos are our Bitches thread _Johnsy came up with last year.

Will say I was happy with the performance given the quality of our roster and what made it so sweet was the quality of our opposition.

In all fairness Pete the thread was accurate at the time of posting, shame it hasn't stood the test of time.

You know it's true. The Dragons have been consistent this year but that means nothing comes finals time. You probably deserve favouritism still, but overall any of the sides in contention for the finals have the talent and skills to beat them if they turn it on on the day, even if the Dragons play their absolute best.

The Dragons started choking in July with a loss against the Titpeckers. Anything but a 13+ win would have been a failure. Even Nathan Brown knew Soward wasn't a finals player, hence look at Exhibit A. Soward vs Eels & Broncos 09' Finals Series. What happened to the 2009 and 2010 calenders for the Sharks? May as well leave them calender-less until at least 2013.

The other sides in the comp are keeping a trick up their sleeve same as last year. Trick the Dragons into false confidence that they're the best side in the comp. Last year Parramatta and Brisbane kept their best for last, rising to a new level, and outdoing them come finals time. Whereas St Gillawarra just sat on their hands and assumed that by sticking to their game plans from the regular season, it would be good enough. It wasn't. Same thing will happen this year, it'll just be different teams they'll fall to.

Whats wrong with singing? I know it's not Brisbane fans thing to do but it adds some atmosphere before during and after.. It's a pity Broncos fans don't, given the size of crowds each week it would sound awesome.

The Broncos song is embarrassing imo. But you're right it would be better than hearing what you usually hear coming out of Lang Park at the end of an Illawarra win:

I don't think it's up to Bennett. It's up to the players to be able to lift it to the next gear when it really matters. Something there is no guarentee the Dragons can do because they still lack that x factor or match winner that other sides have.

Three quarters of the teams in the comp are garbage right now. There's going to be some teams literally just falling into the finals.

Outside of the Roosters I don't know that any team can say they're in good form.

It seems that, except for Roosters, the other top 4 teams are in quite a slump.

Tigers look inept. Dragons don't know how to attack, Panthers are up and down.

At this time of the year, form is more important than anything else and at this stage, roosters are spanking everyone's arse.

I assume last week was the first Roosters game you have watched since they started winning. Souths,Bulldogs,Brisbane were won within the last 5 minutes. Hardly a spanking. Could of quite easily lost all of those.
