I think he was talking about Blacklock - but now that you've raised this thread, he'll probably read it and claim that he was talking about BK.

Pretty sure it was Blacklock.....

Thompson spoke to Stuart at the Sharks, Stuart said no as they are not short on wingers...

He does. He apparently snapped the ACL in both knees, and played for years without a reconstruction. Not sure if he has had them operated on since retirement though.

Todays tele has Adamson listed as signed and possibly going to play for the Panthers this year....

Although like BK this year and Kearns last year I fail to see how this would ever come to be.

he's been training all year with the panthers, has been registered to play on match payments and may take the field for the panthers as early as next week.

and he's not in france lol. he's been with penrith all year.

As has been said it was Blacklock but he was rejected by Cronulla.

Adamson played with torn ACL's?? Must have run only straight lines...

yeh he is their trainer, you would most probably have seen him running round the field on tv but just not realised who it was

There was a fella who played for the Steelers many moons ago who had damaged his ACLs so badly they were removed, and he still played. Alan Mcendoe(Sp?)

I remember Mcendo (not his knees) but remember him. As far as I know the ACL hold you knee together when going sideways and without them your knee would just give in wouldnt it?
