If he has a schollarship with an NRL club, then surely he has some involvement with the NRL.

Media do stuff like this all the time - give background facts to sensationalise a story - to highlight how much the kids have wasted their lives by doing this senseless act. The media have highlighted that they were aboriginal as well - does that mean Seven has an agenda against aboriginals as well?

The bow has been stretched way too far on this one. Just wait for another League drama to occur to bag Seven as a "League hater" and leave this story alone...

I happen to chat with a bloke whos son has had had several training runs with Wests HMs this off season after initially being spotted by Parra, hasnt been offered a contract yet but if he does he'll be boarded at school, :-kinvolvement with the club despite still living in Griffith.

The death is the tragedy.

The accused is the story.

7 have chosen to concentrate on the accused. A lot of information appeared to be initially disclosed for whatever reason. 7 chased the story, as modern jounalism does. The motive is always sensationalism no matter how sensitive a spin is put on it.

The tragedy will remain with us. Hopefully, it will deter more senseless violence. The story will be in tomorrows recycling bin. A new one will come along to replace it.

Don't assist the media to sensationalise the story, use the energy to reflect on the tragedy.
