I am with you after yesterday’s game.

Someone please sack Nathan Brown

Another crap season coming up

That was pathetic yesterday - no creativity or xfactor in the backline
lol, it's a great myth that he did something good at Newcastle, few juniors aside from obviously talented ones, were developed and they bought a team... not what we want here imo...

Obviously he won't be sacked, but hopefully Gould can put in place some real development - we want to be like Penrith and the Broncos of old, and what Newcastle should be like - talented large junior pool being taught to play, together, and progressing to a successful first grade team - supplemented by a few quality imports - for the most part that's when those clubs have been successful, and in our two brushes with success that's more or less how we did it

lol Brown is safe for 2021 season. That performance was not on the coach. We have got injuries that has taken a big chunk of our starting 17. The flat energy is not on Brown either some players in our team are just letting everyone down with basic errors killing our flow of things. More time with this new lookish side we need to give them. Oh lets not forget Manly are under pressure to win a game. Sometimes that's the bounce of the ball.

Everything is on him - he's the boss. The energy is on him. The basic skills are on him. The game plan, who plays, etc, the buck stops with the coach.

Yes we have injuries but the 17 that played this weekend should have beaten Manly, and they were shit and didn't. Remember we have near-on our first choice spine (and SOS is as good, if not better than CHT) and we showed nothing in attack.

I'm not saying sack him for a second, that's wild FYI.

yeah - didn’t see the poor effort from the Tigs coming esp. @ Leichhardt and Tommy’s remembrance

he lives by the sword

that was a weird game, strong wind and almost all the points at one end. But in the end it meant Todd gets some breathing room and Madge is sweating more.

Weird call by Sharks, replacing him with unproven Fitzgibbon, proven coach more understandable. Always more to it than we will know. Players supporting Morris publicly but but not privately? Morris supporting players value to them, but then not at board level. SJ wants $800k, ok, board want $400k ok to that as well.
But Fitzgibbon not there till next year, so waste a year for Sharks under interim coach.

Well no one called it but looks like Morris will be the first coach to go potentially by May/June

"Morris might have been under the pump if Sharks had started badly but they are doing ok."

Well i kind of called it on page 1... Who knew Sharks would act so bizarrely.

Congrats to Morris on telling them to shove it, the form of the Sharks here has been appalling no matter which way dickheads like Paul Kent and Brent Read try to spin it

Ironic thing is Cronulla will probably put more resources and money in behind the new coach and then claim the success is due to the new coach when all along it is because of the clubs support..

Ring the bell on McGuire. He gone…

His ultra aggressive/demanding coaching style can become like the old saying

“Keep whipping them until morale improves”

He has lived by the sword and that also means he was always going to die by the sword.
