When answering this poll question please select an answer you think most likely will happen. Not who you would like to coach the Dragons. All of these which aren't head coaches except Hornby and Young have expressed interest in becoming a full time head coach again. Des could be available if the Dogs choose not to re-sign him. I have added Hornby and Young given that the past 2 times the club has just got an assistant to replace the head coach.

If your coach isn't there please write below who you think the head coach will be.

When voting make sure to vote for the most likley candidate, not who you would personally want as coach. It's a prediction

The Young family are itching to get little Deano in there as coach and they tend to get what they want.
I'm hoping of course that this never happens but until Doust and Co. are thrown out it's a likely scenario.

This does worry me.
I can still remember Bennett saying that he thought Young would one day make a very good coach.I just hope the board/Doust remember all wayne's other nominee's.The signing of Hunt does give me hope that he only signed with the knowledge of a new coach(Des).

For the Alan Bond-sized contract Hunt was offered, I doubt it would bother him if Alan Bond himself was the coach
bennett is the master mate doubt he wanted to lose his halfback. something is brewing big time, des will sign with us for 2018.

Mary said last year he had the team he wanted in 2016 for the 2016 season. The couldn't score and finished 11th with 10 wins. Should have been gone already
Oh I agree whole heartedly but the thread is who you think will be coach not who I want. I can fully see our management either re-signing him or making the same mistake and appointing another of the boys club. If it were my choice, I would throw everything at Hasler and failing that, Cleary.

Yeah I agree. I would love to see either Cleary or Des coching the Dragons but knowing them it would be Hornby, Young or Potter because he used to play for them.

Mc Gregor will get another 2 year stint and the quote will be
"As we all know Mary has been working hard to get the team he wants as well as the organisation required to make it work.
The last few years have been very tough but Mary has guided us through the worst of it.
Mary has now got all the correct senior players in their best positions, as well as all the outstanding juniors we have retained that have been blooded with a sniff of 1st grade.
Ben Hunt is the last piece in the jig saw puzzle so to speak and with him coming on board in 2018 we will be pressing for the title in 2019"
God Bless Mary

As much as I hate this I still think Mary will be coach in 2018. If he can survive 2016 which was one for the worst ever then all he will need is a slight improvement (which won't be hard) and he will get extended. Unless they come last which Newcastle with all their off season crap look to have last sown up, Mary will survive the cut.

The Des Hasler thing is a myth. If he was serious he would have joined already. I doubt he will be wasting a season at a club knowing he will be gone at the end of it when he has a sure thing at the Saints. He wpuld have asked for a release loke he did at his beloved Manly by now.

I reckon Baz will get the chop and Des will be back at Manly. That is my tip.

The Club must ensure that the signing of key players are not wasted, simply by substituting one average coach with another , they need to pull out all stops and sign the best available coach , either Hasler or Cleary .

Regardless of just how secure the hierarchy positions may be in the boardroom , they simply cannot afford to continue to have the fans off-side any longer . Other than the 2015 finals appearance , we have not had too much to smile about .

We were a club that competed very successfully against the best in the league and they now have an opportunity to do so again , but only if they go all-out for the best available coach .

I can absolutely guarantee that it will be complete waste of money thrown at Ben Hunt if the ccuunntt is retained!
The only chance for McGregor is only if Saints are leading the comp after 14 rounds!
