Who will finish in 8th place?

I think the top 7 will stay there and that 8th place is open to a few clubs.

Knights, Panthers, Bulldogs, Sharks and Rabbitohs will fight out for the 8th spot obvously.

Souths run home looks tough,

Points: 18 (two points behind eighth placed Penrith)
The Run Home: Warriors (H), Dragons (A), Eels (H), Raiders (A), Cowboys (H), Broncos (A), Knights (A)

Some say that 26 will get you into the 8.
They could potentially win 4 or more of those and they could potentially lose all of those.

The most important game is today, if they cannot win today they might as well start planning the end of season holiday.

Who you think will get that 8th spot?

I would love to see the sharkies get there, but panthers or knights i would be happy with it.

As long as Souths dont make it.

Whoever it is wont get past Melbourne week 1 anyway

We still have to win the MP first. Gotta get past you guys and Manly in consecutive weeks.

And i thought the same thing in 08 then the warriors got us. Which is why i dont want them to finish 8th.

100% mate. I remember back in 08 when we got scheduled with the Warriors, I knew it would be a tough game. I'll be more than happy to let the Dragons (our biggest threat) have the enjoyment of being bashed to pieces by those big Kiwi boys!

Does it matter. Whoever it is will have as much chance of being the best team of the year as any of the other seven

Souths. And to win in an upset against the Storm in week 1.

I reckon the top 7 will include Warriors and Knights.

8th spot is between Tigers, Panthers, Bulldogs, Sharks and Rabbitohs.

Tigers have both Manly and Melbourne coming up. I reckon they'll lose both games which will open up the 8th spot for Panthers or Bulldogs if good enough.

Top 8 will be Melb, Manly, Saints, Broncos, Cowboys, Warriors... the Tigers, Knights, Bulldogs and Penrith fighting it out for 7th and 8th.

I'd like to think the two teams would be Newcastle and Canterbury, but who knows. The 'Dogs are big chance solely due to their draw - we've got Roosters, Thurstonless Cowboys and Cronulla in the next three rounds. Who knows...
