anyway - just to make a post about the topic ...

mannah - yeah i agree he will lift. Pay could be great for him
captain - whoever it is will probably have something to prove
sandow - he obviously wasn't happy with SKs approach, if he is happy with ricky then yay
lussick - i think he'll want to make a name for himself and with Pay involved this will be a good fit for him
ricky stuart - its been a while since he has coached at club level. I think his intensity has worn guys and things go down after a few years. But I reckon ricky might have learnt a bit himself (fingers crossed)

i think everyone will lift a bit .... new situation, ricky can motivate ... i think we'll go ok, not great, but ok

I heard the playing group is as tight as its been for years and last year was probably at its worst.. I'm sure everyone will draw their own conclusions as to why that's the case.

Well, since the invitation is there... here's my guess:

Definitely the players then. If it was the coach's fault the players would have united against him.

that burt was such a trouble makin' merkin!

so u reckon if those guys were here this year with ricky's arrival that there'd still be poor bonding?

i think ricky is a bit of a bondage master - he's big on it - i think he has a massive impact in that department

They both had defeatist attitudes. That's how they came across to me especially Hindmarsh. His book was the most uninspiring Sports bio that I have ever read.

That's how I saw it. For such a great player he had an incredibly negative outlook. He also made clear how much influence Brian Smith had on him.

so what exactly in the book makes u think he has a defeatist attitude?

i find it hard to believe anyone with the motor hindy had is a defeatist .... I don't think he is the type to inspire others which didn't make him the best captain, but he never stopped, never gave up on a chase, etc and that is certainly not defeatist at a personal level
