Stringer offers a lot more provided he is fit. He is the sort of player who plays through the line rather than to it. On par with O'Meley if he can stay on the paddock IMO.

Tough as the last one

Stapo has been solid for us all year has been a real bargain buy

while

Stringer is a great foward, busts his guts each week

both are in the same mould as each other

leaning towards Stringer, but you cant go past Stapo either

As much as I like Stapleton, Stringer is in a different class and anyone who doesn't think so doesn't watch enough football. I watched the Souths v Panthers game and "String" only played about 25 mins off the bench but his stats were amazing. He is a big metre man and has a very handy offload. Considering he's only just coming back from injury his form is very impressive. Anyone who's not convinced, just watch a few Souths games over the next few weeks.

Stapo could well be the Steve Reardon of Parramatta IMO. Nothing flash but important all the same......

I hope we keep him.

Cos rememeber we also have Alex the Eel..... :p

Thats right Missa - no need to just keep hanging around here, commenting on any old thread, in the hope Alex will be online at the same time and some chit chat can start up....just come out and say "Alex, where are you?"

Stringer's the one most likely, but Stapelton is the guy every team needs. Not scared to do the nitty gritty. I agree with Colonel in that he plays a simialr role to what Steve Reardon did for the Dogs. If i had to choose one I'd say Stinger but hopefully we can have both.

By the way I didn't know I was being used as a marketing tool to promote our club.

Gees, tough one. Stapleton's proved he can put in here, but Stringer could be the more explosive runner of the ball. Stringer's the type that may represent, but Stapo probably never will.

Wish we could keep both too.
