Who's better?

The Axe

Brett Kimmorley or Noel Goldthorpe
Gotta go with Noddy. He took Goldthorpe's Mariners jersey right after Goldthorpe won the SL Origin tri series for NSW in the first ever real golden point game. Noddy then went on to play for the SL Roos at the end of that season. A remarkable turn of events tbh.

Ian Roberts or Paul Harrogan?

Can't go past Chief. One of the best props NSW have ever produced. Had a bit of mongrel in him too, although it got the best of him at times (getting knocked out clean by Mark Carroll comes to mind).

Peter Sterling or Ricky Stuart?

Peter Sterling - More complete player and was always planning for 2 or 3 tackles later. Ricky Stuart had the best kicking game I've ever seen.

Jamie Soward or Jahrome Hughes?

I’ll go Soward. Although if Hughes continues on his current trajectory he’ll end up the better player.

Tim Brasher or Brett Mullins?

Sterlo, no contest, as good as Stuart was and change the game as he did.

Another good one. Mullins had more flair but Brasher was so competitive, he bridged the gap.

Agreed. Jack’s less selfish and will happily change positions to give his mate a go.

- Arthur Beetson; or
- Glenn Lazarus?

Beetson by a proverbial mile. He could get yardage like Lazarus, and a quick play the ball too. However he was quicker over 20 metres than Lazarus and had the ball playing skills most halfbacks would die for. Also a top notch defender.

You didn't leave a new comparison to keep the thread going
