The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. Always has been, always will be, for a good 12 years now I've followed HBK religiously, I've celebrated every major title he's ever won, stopped following wrestling relgiously when he retired and only took an interest again when he came back. He is a God amongst men in wrestling, the greatest there ever has been and ever will be. Behind the mic one of the best, clever, funny, cocky and just plain awesome. Best ever in the ring, without question, flying, technical, brawling, he did it all, and looked good doing it. Only mick foley takes a better bump than him, too, but nobody looks even half as authentic as Shawn when getting pummelled. A true legend.
The next guys in line:
Mick Foley - funny, puts his body on the line and intelligent, one of the great characters of wrestling who played an unfortunate second fiddle most of his career
Bret Hart - one of the greatest wrestlers to watch, he was a step above in the early 90's, when ring work was all that counted.
Owen Hart - not as skilled as Bret, but just as entertaining and gave some classic promos and had some great fueds. Rest in peace Owen.
Greg Davis - Only ever saw him once, where he lost a match on Superstars to Jerry Lawler, a 'speak match' where Lawler wrestled the guy while holding a microphone, to tell us about how bad the beating he was giving was. Then he squealed like a girl as Davis come back, before being finished off by Lawler's pile driver. Hilarity.
