Why are our memberships so expensive?

I just did a quick comparison with some membership packages already released from other clubs.

Tigers:

Gold seating (all 12 home games): $450
Silver seating (all 12 home games): $330
Bronze General admission (all 12 home games): $245
"Jungle" General admission (all 12 home games): $300

Panthers:

Gold seating (all 12 home games): $350
Silver seating (all 12 home games): $250
Bronze general admission (all 12 home games): $150

Roosters:

Gold seating (all 12 home games): $350
Silver seating (all 12 home games): $275
Bronze general admission (all 12 home games): $99

They also have Chookpen covered ($270) and Chookpen uncovered ($235).

Manly:

Gold seating (10 home games): $420.00
Silver seating (10 home games): $220
Premium general admission seating (10 home games): $225
General admission (hill): $180

Most other Sydney clubs like the Dogs, Eels etc. have not released their 2013 pricing yet.

Apart from the Manly's gold season ticket, every other ticket from the above clubs is comparatively cheaper than ours.

Why the f**k does the club charge so much? I am genuinely puzzled. Is it because of the three home grounds? Given the extra revenue from playing four games at Allianz, surely that can't be a valid reason? If not, then what is it? :?

I asked the question on this forum about 2 weeks ago and consensus was they go up because they can. Oh and playing at Leichhardt Oval means that we have to pay a premium price for the privilege to go there

What do Manly, the Roosters and Penrith all have in common? They aint got no supporters.

We aren't a charity.

Do manly and penrith treat wests like another bye like we do?

If wests aren't charity then why'd y'all sign Anasta lol

There is no need to be snippy, I was just pointing out that they are a little challenged
with regards to getting any of their own supporters to show up to a game.

On the other hand, the Tigers have much more support, so our tickets are worth more.
Simple really.

PS: You're a weird dude Tonearm, you seem to be irritated by my posts. I haven't
once come onto the Easts forum and given you a tickle. You seem like the kind of guy
who would stay home to be offended if their neighbours were throwing a party.

I can't see the bulldogs changing there ga season ticket prices. They were $99 the last few seasons. I think you have to have that entry point that will get in more punters through the gates.

Its reasonable value... $20 bucks a game for bronze...

If the other clubs want to give their tickets away that doesnt concern me....

My father-in-law had a Storm Membership this year - $120 for 6 GA tickets to Storm games, plus all the merch that comes with it.

The Tigers out of towners package cost more, with similar merch and one home ticket (I was told it could not be swapped for the game at AAMI)

So thats it, I'm not buying memberships anymore until they start being reasonable with their prices and show just a hint of flexibility.

1/2 of your joint venture is broke i suggest- bit hard to fathom premium seating being so expensive based on your home games at your grounds- 6 at Alliance - 3 at Leichardt and 3 at Leumeah- how big(seating wise) are the stands at both the suburban grounds(Leichardt and Leumeah) to be able charge such a premium??
