If you can honestly say he wasn't the best forward on the field with a straight face then I don't know what game you were watching.
Taupau? Bromwich? Most other kiwi forwards?

I normally like old mate Parker but he was disgraceful in that test, threw at least 40 offloads that went straight to the ground where we ended up losing yards,if only the ground was a player and could catch.
Meanwhile...Kiwis go off to England for a 3-test series against the 3rd ranked (and improving?) English side while Oz wanders off into the sunset for a year with nothing but Origin-fever to test them as a national (?)team. Who knows what other international games NZRL is planning as well?
World cup rolls around again and the Kiwis, as a complete, & still young national team(barring injuries), are a well-oiled machine who have racked up some invaluable experience.
Long time between sweet treats...
My issue with your team is that despite what you said above, you have picked a team that contradicts your points.
You still picked a lazy Inglis and two debutants on the wing out of position.
But I do agree with some of the selections.
The problem is that when a team is winning it is not changed and then Australia is left with a divide between the more experienced players and the rest of the eligible players.
Smith, Cronk, Slater and Thurston are not going to make the world cup. If they do we are no chance of beating the kiwis. Unless Inglis wants to keep getting embarrassed he has to put in 100 at fullback, you cant bludge against a better team and not be found out, especially the FB. The attack looked like Melbourne from a few years ago, structured and easy for the kiwis to pick off as it hasn't changed since Smith, Cronk and Slater got into the side, we play the same footy and are picking very close to the same side as 2009
We looked old and slow in the forwards including Cam Smith. Ive said it like 5 times since sunday, its time time start picking DCE over Cronk, identify JTs replacement and have him around as 18th man. Segeyaro or Friend should be on the bench. Papali, Guerra, Napa, Fifita, Klemmer, Jackson should all be in the mix for the forwards over guys like Lewis, Bird, Myles, Thaiday, Tamou.
Jennings was out there walking whenever we were defending, drop him and pick someone who will bust a nut for the jersey. The kiwis have it over us now, its time to suck it up and get to work. Unfortunately its 12 months before we can get started it really had to happen this year.
Mate, Segeyaro is a PNG rep. Surely, the system doesn't allow him to be picked for us.
I stiil have numerous questions over Klemmer being more than a standard first grade footballer.
He has changed his allegiance, he is available for QLD and AUS now. It might of been something to do with how PNG treated his old man or something, I think I read that.
He is definitely available for AUS now.
Fair enough re Klemmer but you cannot deny we need some new blood in that pack, how was Tamou picked over fifita?
Trouble is I have more knowledge of league in my little finger than you have in your ego, f**ker.
You are a f**kwit who follows the sheep by meeting size with size, where as I use football talent to beat these inbred sheepf**kers.
The starting pack can give me plenty of time on the park and the bench adds smarts.
My team with the added winger and sizable bench player would and will beat these f**kers by 40 points in the world cup.
Revenge will be sweet.
They were better.
End thread.
