Why do people hate on Mitchell Pearce

You know what f**k the Pearce hate at Origin level

Carney was terrible and was nothing more then a passenger during the games he played.

Soward was a speed hump

Wallace, Bird and Mullen were terrible



Pearce and Maloney the only halves to actually put something in and let me tell you something if it wasn't for shit forwards last year we would've won we lost by 2 with shit forwards and we would've won game 2 if it wasn't for Merrits terrible defence.

Luke Brooks is the future NSW halfback but he needs more time in first grade before being picked for halfback until have some faith in Pearce.

Back up your statement. How many tackles did Soward miss when playing origin?

Isn't 12 origins enough "faith"? At what point is the experiment over? Why was Pearce given 12 origins whilst Soward & Carney only 3?

The NSW selectors don't seem to hate him.

When surrounded by a star studded club side, up against other club sides, he's a decent to good half. Not a world beater mind you, he'd be that in the NSW Cup. BUT he is nowhere near good enough when the difficulty level in raised above NRL level, yet he continues to be chosen.

And people feel, with some justification, that he has earned these higher honours not on merit, but on the name of his father.
