I was watching closely and just thought a bottle had been thrown from a Dogs fan hitting him on the head and Frizzel was just trying to protect him. I guess it was an easy mistake to make with Dog fans at games.
Because they cop too much criticism for influencing games.
I'd be very surprised to see him playing next week.
I'm not sure there was intent there though
Intent is not an absolute must in the criteria of a send off, as Gus Gould says

Ten in the bin is the perfect punishment. Send off is too harsh.
