Nah

anyway since you are happy including government grants as part of afl revenue then png will be adding 60 million to nrl revenue lmao
Lol,sure if it makes you feel better take the $88mill govt grant revenue out , for no obvious reason other than to make you feel better.

Without it the revenue gap past year was only $257mill, before their big pay day kicks in!

It's happening soon
AMMI park is fantastic
Melbourne sports fans craving for more
Please no. Leave the Storm on their own down there to keep growing their base.
GWS has been an absolute money pit for the AFL and Melbourne 2 would be even worse for the NRL, especially without News pumping money in like they did for the Storm.

Again you are stating that a company is making a false and misleading claim and that it is obvious. If that is the case then you should report it

A person can go to jail for something like this. They would at least suffer pretty significant financial penalties.
No what I’m talking about isn’t fraud lol

I’ve spent five mins looking at the afl financials which is five mins more than you

The WA government really is to blame for not getting the perth bid in order. They really should push for it more.
Govts dont like to go public until signed sealed and delivered. Makes them look bad if it falls through. They also cant announce public funding commitments without a due process involving treasury and wont go through that till signed off with NRL that its a definite.

WA Govt has done exactly same as fed govt, both have said, in a very non detailed way, they support bids and want to see clubs in the respective areas.

In an ideal world it wouldn't be government or the taxpayers job to fund and operate bids for what will almost certainly become a privately owned organisation. Sure it happens from time to time, but it's not something that should become an accepted norm.

Totally agree, but it is becoming much more normal it would seem, at least in Australia. Stadiums, centre of excellences and now direct funding of clubs. Highly dubious use of public money paying for private companies but there you go, such is Govt
