Why Queensland can't win this series....

I know you're angry cause of the inevitable loss coming up for QLDerp, but I'll try and keep this simple and clean. I never once said the NSW/Rooster spine was great, I said the QLD spine was falling apart without Lockyer, and Smith has been carrying it for the past 2 games. His rage after the Bulldogs game on the weekend was really stemming from his anger at the lack of class from his fellow spine players. A spine doesn't have to be elite to be great, it just has to be better than the other spine and NSW spine is leaps and bounds ahead of QLD's spine at the moment. The fact that Barba was even being considered for a rep jersey shows how far behind QLD are right now. Stewart, Hayne and Minichilello would send Barba back to toyota cup.

I don't know what you're talking about in regards to Manly and Melbourne, most of the players from both sides have been changing constantly, only Smith, Slater, Cronk and Brett Stewart are consistent. And as we all know Smith has been carring Slater and Cronk, Stewart is the real success story here.

I never once said that Pearce was as good as you assume I think he is, I believe he is underrated and he isn't as high on the Dally M boards as he is in a losing side for no reason. I trust Stuart more than the posters on this board who are merely envious of his success and lifestyle. I expect Pearce to excel after this year when the Banansta is gone and Pearce can dictate terms like he wants. He is a true leader and if you think he will never captain NSW/Aus you will be severely mistaken. A few years ago nobody thought Gallen was captain material... hell he wasn;t even captain of his club side! And if you had any idea you'd see the skill that Mini has, he isn't up to it at origin level at fullback anymore but if he was on the wing/at 5/8 or lock he would dominate for NSW and maybe even Australia if he had the chance. And no I wouldn't pick every eligible Roosters player for origin... I'll gouge my eyes out if I ever see that hack Guerra get a rep jersey.

Okay Mister "simple and clean", are you still saying that Pearce and Carney are the preferred half/five-eighth combo, over Thurston/Cronk?

I'm glad that NSW have them and we have Thursto and Cooper.

Mate, let NSW test your assertion. Make Pearce and Carney the permanent halves combo for NSW for at least the next five years. The way that things are going Piss will be lucky to hold onto his Origin jersey, and he has no hope of being selected for Australia, even as the boy who cuts the oranges.

There's a groundswell of NSW fans who would love nothing better than to see Piss never pull on an Origin jersey ever again. As a QLD supporter, who was at the game last night, I hope that Piss stays there for as long as he can manage it.

QLD won't win cause NSW's spine has been dominating the QLD spine in the past 2 origins. The wheels will fall off completely in game 3 and Cameron Smith will be begging to be a NSWelshman in front of an entire maroon crowd.
