He's talking about the Rosster's spine. FMD, I knew you were dumb, but that's laughable. So let's examine your ill logic here:
QLD's spine includes Cronk, Smith and (usually Slater) whose team is at the top of the NRL ladder currently, while your team is in 14th place. Most of the QLD's spine have played in 4 grand finals in the past few years while your team the Roosters have played in one, with a wooden spoon awarded in 2009. The QLD spine have been involved in winning consecutive Origin Series' for the past few years including a clean sweep two years ago. The NSW team including Pearce at half have lost for the last three years. Despite that, NSW's spine is better.
Based upon what?
Or is it the 'book' under Marco Lombardi's bed?

Storm won the wooden spoon in 2010 you fool.
I know that BHP was talking about the Rooted spine, but he was extrapolating that to a NSW superiority. Thus I questioned that as proving the superiority of NSW's spine.
Manly and the Storm have been the class leaders in the NRL for a long time now, and the players who have contributed to those two teams for lengthy periods all have a share in that. Whether they play for NSW or they play for QLD.
I get angry listening to BHP and his muppet alter ego always brandishing Pearce as some f*cking super player, when he is a very ordinary player who occasionally has one good game. Pearce deserves to be in First Grade. He will never be Australian jersey material (let alone captain). He only just scrapes in at Origin level. He may be improving. He certainly needs to improve, that's for certain. If someone else steps-up for NSW the Origin selectors will drop him like a hot potato.
There are many NSW players that I would select for Origin duty. Those players are made for Origin. Stuart's selections were his biggest stumbling block. He has made a better fist of it this year. BHP can't see past his Rooted fixation. He was touting Mini last year as a Wunderplayer for GOD sake. If BHP/spitgeek was the NSW selector he would pick every Rooted player for NSW that would conform to the selection rules.
That's why if you notice, I've put the boot into his posts. Please see that post as a riposte to BHP and don't read too much more into it.

I know you're angry cause of the inevitable loss coming up for QLDerp, but I'll try and keep this simple and clean. I never once said the NSW/Rooster spine was great, I said the QLD spine was falling apart without Lockyer, and Smith has been carrying it for the past 2 games. His rage after the Bulldogs game on the weekend was really stemming from his anger at the lack of class from his fellow spine players. A spine doesn't have to be elite to be great, it just has to be better than the other spine and NSW spine is leaps and bounds ahead of QLD's spine at the moment. The fact that Barba was even being considered for a rep jersey shows how far behind QLD are right now. Stewart, Hayne and Minichilello would send Barba back to toyota cup.
I don't know what you're talking about in regards to Manly and Melbourne, most of the players from both sides have been changing constantly, only Smith, Slater, Cronk and Brett Stewart are consistent. And as we all know Smith has been carring Slater and Cronk, Stewart is the real success story here.
I never once said that Pearce was as good as you assume I think he is, I believe he is underrated and he isn't as high on the Dally M boards as he is in a losing side for no reason. I trust Stuart more than the posters on this board who are merely envious of his success and lifestyle. I expect Pearce to excel after this year when the Banansta is gone and Pearce can dictate terms like he wants. He is a true leader and if you think he will never captain NSW/Aus you will be severely mistaken. A few years ago nobody thought Gallen was captain material... hell he wasn;t even captain of his club side! And if you had any idea you'd see the skill that Mini has, he isn't up to it at origin level at fullback anymore but if he was on the wing/at 5/8 or lock he would dominate for NSW and maybe even Australia if he had the chance. And no I wouldn't pick every eligible Roosters player for origin... I'll gouge my eyes out if I ever see that hack Guerra get a rep jersey.
   .........Gold!!
Who told you to type that in ......?
