Im under the impression the club wants the retro jersey to be our perminate strip?

If not, a campaign must start so the club relises how much the fans prefer the retro over any jersey we have had since the early 90's.

It was total bullsh!t and if anyone can tell me that skyblue black and white clashes with puke green then I will stand rootin ( I wish I could but me old knees.) I dare anyone to tell me that our regular outfit clashed with the Raiders...

They made me chringe when I saw them on Mr Fox's Sputnik station, and for the life of me why do we have to cop the Sh!t. To me it is an insult to my intelligence.

Are we expected to put up with this........ you should of heard the comments from the neutral league fans around me about the dogs vomit outfits WE HAD TO FARKCAN WEAR.......... "give me strength" .... we are a laughing stock wearing that sh!t.

Bring back common sense and tell the marketting grubs or whoever makes these stupid decisions to GET A LIFE - stop worshipping the mighty dollar - and let us follow our club with pride in the farcan outfit that they should be wearing.

True, the Jersey is bad. BUT our contract with Puma means we have to wear that Jersey for a certain number of games.

Same with the Retro jersey, because of our contract I think we could only wear the retro jersey 5 times this year, but had this extended to wear it TWICE V Manly (for Steve Rogers) and v Panthers (Cause of our 40th year).

So we have 3 more times in the retro this year (untill semis at least) and im sure we will be seeing that white strip several more times this year and most probably next week against the dogs.

Actually he did ask us what we thought of it. We didn't hold back either. He agreed there is too much white.

Okay I think there is a general concensus here that the piece of rag looks like sh!t.

As a promotional marketting exercise it is a complete failure.... nobody in there right mind is going to buy it unless they want to stand on the front of a float in the Mardi Gra.

Now how many people are cueing up to buy the retro jersey. I have not purchased a sharks jersey in zonks, one I have not found one that I personally like for years and two I am a miserable tight arse. But i will go out and buy one next year if they are going to wear it next year as in a season of games. I am still barking about how it clashes with almost everyone else's jerseys.

I believe if our expressions were forwarded to those who hold the contract for and on behalf of Puma and vent our frustrations at the Sh!t product then maybe, just maybe, if they were also holding the key to the new "older" jersey then if it was worn more by the Sharks rugby League side then more people would dip into their respective wallet / purses and buy bloody one.

On principle (check spellun) I would not dig into my extensive wealth and buy a jersey that the club was only going to wear five times this year in conjunction with other sweet little outfits that make us a laughing stock.

Email Puma or who ever and tell em to stick the sweet little grey and white number where the sun dont shine.

Consumer Power, bring it on....

That's a good point and I'm probably the only one but I like the Souths black strip.

I can live with the fins, as it is still blue, black and white. The pastel gray tshirt looks like sh*t and I would late it up there with the Broncos diamond jersey for lameness.

Dont they do some sort of acceptance survey from the fans before releasing this crap?
