thats not why he's first choice fb. its because of everything else he brings to the team that far outweighs last line defence

we averaged under 3 trys a game against us in round robin, if you wana go pay 900k a year for a complete fb like tedesco, enjoy momirvoski and oliver gildert as your centres

now you’re putting words in my mouth. I don’t think anyone is asking for too much for him to at least make a better attempt at tackle. He is playing first grade afterall, not a grade.

He isn’t my style of fullback, but he certainly makes our attack better.

As all have said 12 other blokes have to get through before they come to him. I’d just like to see his body put on the line a bit more

The intensity of a Will Kennedy tackle reminds me of the same intensity of Steven Seagal’s “attackers” to do him actual bodily harm, in his Aikido demonstration sessions.

Imagine breaking through the line and looking ahead, to see the menacing figure of a quivering Furbee. Must strike the fear of knob cancer into our opposition.

If Will Kennedy was a Top-40 single, he’d be the equivalent of Clowns Never Laughed Before by Greg Brady of The Brady Bunch.

No contract extension purleeeease.

I’m a big WK fan, think he brings a lot to the team, particularly in attack obviously, but it does appear he’s not the sort who throws his head/body in places where most people wouldn’t put a foot - and for me, that’s a big weakness. He might not have stopped the tries last week, but at least become a speed bump by throwing yourself in the way and let everyone see your maximum effort and lack of self preservation - he was definitely hesitant/avoiding heavy defensive contact.

When WK was injured during the season it took him a couple of games to find his feet within the team again. This was my concern last week, hopefully it won't be my concern this week.

In his defence on the Dearden try Wade sorta denied him a clean shot at him and took him out. Yes he was a turnstile on the other one but he wasn't Robinson Crusoe there. What he brings in attack generally outweighs his deficiency in defence imo.

The other thing I find interesting is the fact the journos keep crapping on about us leaking 30 points in a semi and our defence not being up to it. News flash the cows leaked 30 too. Difference is they got lucky with a 45m field goal. f**king wankers /rant.

All 4 losing teams went within a bees dick of conceding 30 points or conceded 30.

only difference is we also scored 30.

Fix the defensive issues around the two poor tries we conceded in the first half and it reads much better.

To be honest I was more concerned how slow Talakai looked in trying to match Hiku for speed than the poor attempt of a tackle from Kennedy.

Maybe the ankle injury the week before was the reason?

He's obviously not the quickest guy playing centres is Sifa but you'd have to think that's why as it deadset looked like he was running in mud.

I'd even ask him for his warm up/debut number ,shirt back. He stinks!
I'm not knocking you I am just laughing at what a great line this was. Cracker!

A bit of Dylan Edwards about his career. Shit start, questionable if he is good enough but keeps on trucking along. I'll admit I was hopeful that Dykes would over take him. Can't see that now.

He's not finished yet. He's still built like a snake. If he does manage to get some more top end bulk about him he'll be even better.
