You guys are having a laugh I reckon.... Wilson made a high profile error that ended in a try but keep looking folks.... Was it on his side that they made a majority of line breaks? Reactionary crap for mine, wilson didn't have a great game but your scapegoating... He's down on form but not that down...

Wilson will be back to form - don't you worry. Sure he's been a tad scratchy, but i mean how much has he had to work with - if he gets some more ball then he'll be able to get some confidence like Prince has shown

Question>
Will John Wilson ever have the impact of a Gidley ,Gasnier,Cross etc.
Answer>Not in my opinion .
Most sides have centres who can bust the line and turn the game .

Johns defence is great if he gets up fast and makes the tackle, but if he misses he puts his outside men under extreme pressure.

What is Tims sheens problem with dene halatau?

Wilson hasn't been playing his best this year, but on friday night, everytime i'd scream out to the rest of my family watching the game "WHOA! WHAT A TACKLE!" Johnny Wilson allways seemed to be involved ;-)

Same shit different player

Drop Wilson because he is too slow and replace him with Covell

Drop Wilson because he is missing tackles and replace him with Fitzy

   well done fellow Wests Tiger supporters your on fire again

As Rif Raf said "reactionary crap".

The way i see it is his form is a little below what it was last year but he is still the best centre in the club and anyone calling for him to be dropped should take their lubricated right hand off their drop rod :p

I know you love the man Dale, but seriously he is not the player he was last year,he is slower his defence is worse his pace has gone south for the winter and his hands whats going on there. I gave him the benefit of the doubt after the in goal gaff against the Sharks, but he has done it every week.He needs a wake up call,a few weeks in Balmain PL might do it.

There is no way I would drop Wilson from the side. I admit hes really down on form but there is no way I would be calling for his name. Maybe moving him out of the centres is not a bad idea, but definetly not out of the side. Maybe a move to the bench with Fitzhenry to teh centres and either Galea or Graham to five eigth. But theres no way Id be saying he should be dropped.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Benji comes back from injury - if they slot him into 5/8th or move him into the centers to replace Wilson since he really has been down on form in a very big way!

I'd say Fitzy to centre Wilson out all together and Marshall to 5/8.

I was actually thinking about that the other day but this week against the Roosters it really wouldn't surprise me if Fitzy actually slots into halfback and Prince plays 5/8th which is the best position Prince can actually play IMO, but they also tried that against the Panthers in the 2nd half and we did look a much better side in attack so it will be interesting

i'd be pushing Prince to 5/8th with Marshall at Halfback. Its common knowledge Prince is a natural #6 and his form of late is suggesting that more and more, he's running alot wider, and he's been deadly in attack, slicing through the defensive line. He's really starting to come into his own, and its exciting to watch.

Daslacker i definately dont agree with the decision to drop Wilson but at least Sheens picked the only logical replacement in Halatau.

So i had an opinion big deal,at least my post wasnt filled with reactionary garbage like Covell should replace Wilson at centre

I still believe that without a doubt John Wilson is our best centre ;-)

Luke wouldn't have missed all the tackles Wilson has lately.

Wilson is one of the best hole runners in the game. See the game v Brisbane and most of last year. He can spot a gap and runs tight angles. This is why I think he is most effective in the back row. As a center you are more easily marked, the other center watches you and knows where you are,. as a backrower you can roam more. However I don't think he is big enough, or does enough work, to be a starting secondrower so I'd have him off the bench

Or alternatively he can be used as a centre who you have your chief playmaker try and put into gaps, and here in lies the reason for his lack of form.

The Prince Wilson combination has failed to get off the ground, partly due to Prince only recently deciding to take on the line thus creating a staggered or confused defensive line for the likes of Wilson to attack and partly due to Wilsons lack of confidence which more than likely goes back to the coach's decision to take forever to re-sign him multiplying recently with the lack of quality ball offered to him through the patchy form of his ball playing buddies Prince and Graham.

Either way i fail to see how playing him in reserve grade will fix these problems

I concur. I think Benj at #7 and Prince at #6 can be our best halves combination.

Wilson... well a week or two in PL may do him the world of good. I don't think he should be completely out of the side, and I am a fan of his, but this years form has been mediocre. I think a spot on the bench in a week or two as a forward who can make some big hits and run into gaps.
