100% Vic.
NRL dusted off the 2014 bunnies book of favouritism and simply texta coloured the jerseys blue and gold.
Has ANY other team received that many 6 again calls over the 2 games ?

I read an article toay that said yes Manly got shafted but all the talk is about the rouchie f**king things up and nothing about how Manly should have won that game by 10. You can't be a top four team when you get tackled on the 5th half a dozen times. If Manly had a better hooker or 5/8 they would be top three for sure.

I'm pretty sure they got a shitload against the donkeys last week as well. Seems the fix is in early.
And back to the main topic, one that boils my piss to this day was the one against the donkeys a few years back. Golden point, Broncos 20 out, in front of the posts, ref blows penalty for markers not square, isako slots it over. Markers were perfectly square

That was another one where we got the apology on Monday from Graeme Annesley. Man we’re really due for a horrible call our way to win a game aren’t we?

As I read every one of these ref howlers against us, each one comes back clearly in mind.
Then that twitch in the neck and the steam in the ears.
The knees from Jeremy Smith, and the scrum after Dwyer's hit on Maria are the ones that keep me awake at night, plotting our revenge.

Ok so I’m going to preface this by saying that the Titans were the better side last night, however it’s now come out that:

* Titans have had 2 players charged by the match review committee, we didn’t receive a penalty on either occasion (penalty count finished 5-1, 6 agains 5-2 both in Titans favour)

* Mikaele and Twal were both placed on report, neither have been charged

* The Titans are set to be fined for asking the ref to stop the game for a cramp in back play, this is against the rules. We were on a roll that set

* The kick off didn’t go 10m, to be fair live I thought it did

* The referee didn’t let us make a challenge because he called a forward pass. Replays showed Proctor knocked the ball out of Nofas hand into Grant. Should have been 6 again. Titans scores that set

Thought they were both clear penalties. First was an obvious escort and second was a cynical strip after the held call to slow the play the ball.

The 12-2 penalty count was a joy to watch though.

Wonder if Des will thank the refs for the strip penalty call like he did last week for the try they got awarded where the grounding was bullshit.

Manly got some calls last night for sure but the Broncs should have targeted Vuna ? and his inside man more last night. That wasted challenge on the escort was Shane Watson like.

So for those playing at home Graham Annesley has today said that the referee was wrong to deny us a challenge on the Chee Kam penalty and that it would have been over turned. That penalty was what put the Raiders 8 clear.

One day we'll have Annesley apologising to our opposition for a costly call which cost them the chance to win the game.

I think they were 2 in front at the time however it looked like a genuine try scoring opportunity. We had a 2 on 1

Edit: Nvm you were right

The thing that gives me the shits is where did the ref pull this idea we couldn't challenge the call. It seemed like he just made up an excuse at the time. Did he have any justification?

And this is what i dont understand. With ones like the Tapine drop that they got a penalty for that was simply the refs interpretation, sure he got it wrong but its the same as a player dropping a ball, it happens. This is completely inexcuseable though, its the referee not knowing the rules.

But Vic will anything happen to Sutton, of course not, they will roll him out again this weekend. You got scratch your head, we are using half the refs this year and blokes like Sutton,Klein and Henry still get a gig

Yes He got it wrong and we didn’t have a captain in his face telling him otherwise ..And saying WTF so he doesn’t make the same mistake again or if he does then in our favour
