Burton and Brown might not win a comp, but may in 2 or 3 years time. We are never winning a comp with Moses at 7 he offered less than zero. We looked fair more dangerous when he had nothing to do with our play. Paulo and Guth got to first receiver more than Slalom Moses.

Even Riley Jacks could provide what Moses provides when the going gets tough, for 1/4 of the price.

Somewhat agree but I don’t think Drown is a half. He’s a good running centre in my opinion. However, if Paulo runs the show as a half in attacking positions, both Moses and Drown could potentially have a role. Moses’ role is to kick long in general play and run off Junior. Similarly, Drown’s role is to off Junior on the other side.

In saying that though, a monkey could undertake that role so they’re both overpaid.

Spot on with the attention to detail mate. I know some posters take the piss out of the “accepting mediocrity” comments but every organisation has minimum standards that must be met and if they’re not, there are consequences. I see too many of the same mistakes from the same culprits to believe that this is taking place to a level that is anywhere near the top teams.
There was a set where they were going nowhere on the 3rd or 4th tackle, they made an average hit up and we made poor contact and the rest of our line thought everything was sweet and turned our backs and let them off the hook they went the length and got a drop out. They scored off the next set, as I said horrible attention to detail you never see the Storm or Roosters do that.

We’re usually odds on to give away a set restart in that situation as well.

If moved on id rather Salmon or W.Smith. and then have 700k to spend on some better players elsewhere.
Matterson is strong but more a lock. He is not potent enough for mine.

Haven't had good line breaking 2md rowers since Kem Edwards and Manu Mau

Moses is a far superior kicker to Jacks. He was Dally M halfback last year ffs. He hasn't forgotten how to play.

Downhill skier. You can accumulate enough points shitting all over pissant teams to win the actual Dally M. Go and talk to The Plane

Doesn't mean he is capable of producing anything in a Finals match.

Downhill skiers won't win us comps. Move them on.

We lack game management.

Dylan Brown is two weeks off returning from injury, and 20 years old, and he did fine.

But Moses...that missed penalty killed the game for us.

We had all the momentum, and we could have tied the game up (and likely taken the wind out of Souths' sails, at the same time) - but he misses a sitter.

He kicked conversions from the sideline, though, which is weird.

But the biggest issue is that Mitchell Moses can't manage a game.

We had some possessions 20m out, where Moses' last tackle options were quite poor, and led to nothing.

We had Waqa Blake, Brad Takairangi, and (to a lesser extent) Haze Dunster out there tonight, and we didn't opt to use a bomb to the corner when we were 20m out.

Moses has all the talent in the world, but his temperament needs a lot of work.

I would seriously consider switching Moses and Brown's positions next year, and allowing Brown to run the team, and let Moses play ad lib, eyes up footy - he's proven he isn't capable of running a side.

We also desperately need another bench prop.

Get a good halfback for next year & you’ll be sweet. Good luck on Monday after the ASADA & WADA investigatory investigation

now you are taking the piss.....jacks is terrible and wouId offer absolutely nothing Moses does...

I'm not advocating to get Riley Jacks, but he can defend (better than Moses) and he can kick a ball, which is all Moses has done in any Finals match he has played in.

What I'm saying is he could've done everything positive that Moses did tonight, for 1/4 the price.

So what are we paying for?
