He didn’t even hit him in the head. There was contact but Hymel Hunt, who was jostling on the other side, actually bumped Chee Kam into Smelly’s shoulder. Then CK copped a head slam from the ground.

I didn’t see it that way till I read KP was exonerated by the MRC and went had another look.

Take HH out though and KP was elbow bent and shoulder cocked.

Most sports have little contention because theres small margin for ref or umpire error. Might go games before theres a controversy.

The problem with RL its EVERY game.
Because with our physical contact - and ruck and play the ball it is actually possible to find a penalty every single tackle.
Or to let it slide.
No other game affords the ref this 'luxury'.
