Go easy, he just asked a question. To answer, the army supports the Dragons just like you, me and every other fan that goes to games. I see people in Steelers jerseys and people in St George jerseys and both are fine with me. We are a joint venture, and hopefully a grand final win will put this issue to rest once and for all.

I was a diehard Dragons fan before the two clubs merged, growing up i had a alot of relatiives living in Wollongong, so i was always in the area growing up, so i already had a soft spot for illawarra, both clubs supported red and white colours, throw the historical links clubs shares (we stole all their players lol) it didnt bother me one bit once the clubs merged As liong as that Red V is still prominent is the jerseys im happy

The question you raised regarding if it's a St George or St George Illawarra army would no doubt have been raised to you by someone who has not been apart of our great core group. Unfortunately some people wish to alienate themselves and try and instigate a so called obvious divide in the fans. Those are always those supporters who don't sit amongst us but heckle from afar. Cut the political tripe...If you currently support the illawarra steelers you are a 2nd class supporter. So much so I don't even bother using capital letters in their name. They are dead. If you did in the past but you are willing to accept who we are now as a team then you are welcome in our supporters base. Even the most stubborn of St George supporters have now learned to accept the illawarra side so shape up or ship out, the bandwagon's pretty full as it is atm.
