Whats the deal with Spark, cant you just sign up for the month then piss it off after the tournament? Or do they lock you into a contract?
Yeah you can join and suspend at any time I think, many people sign up for free weekly trials with many different emails

Personally much prefer Sky for all coverage, but especially the overnight sports like this where I can wake up and chuck it on and wind through it easily rather than pissing around with the streaming coverage

Going to be very strange watching Aussie in this World Cup, they have allocated numbers which their squad will play in during the tournament, rather than positional numbers

Interesting - I remember hating it when it came in in football - grew up watching Dalglish in 7, Rush in 9, Souness in 10 etc... then they changed it, probably helps shirt sales - and I am ok with it - stupid in cricket imo, I expect clubs will roll it out now, imagine Johnson if he doesn't get the #7

The 'squad numbers' thing will be done for every team at the World Cup, will be interesting to see how other teams approach it. Super League in the UK still do it now I think?

And yeah we had it for the one season here in 1997, not sure I'd want it to come back tbh.

From memory Daryl Halligan wore 11 for Canterbury. He said he chose the number due to him playing on the left wing for Waikato in the late 80's and 1990 prior to his switch to the Bears in 1991.

One to seventeen does it for me. Before that (and the unlimited interchange) one to fifteen was the go.

Old skool 4 eva!

Maybe we needed a tougher workout than 74-0?
I think even the Warriors would have beaten Leeds easily.

I fear with our weak pool we might struggle a bit to get to the right pace when we hit the big games.

Really? I don't remember him playing wing for Waikato very often, he was mostly a fullback.
