[Mr Angry]It was all terrible as musicians are a bunch of wasters and Milli Vanilli are the typical musician [/Mr Angry]

Machine heads latest the worst of 2011??

Really?

I think we discussed them a bit in a different thread, but yeah mate I think it's rubbish. Whatever they have done with Robb's voice annoys the living shit out of me hey. I have pretty high expectations with MH, this is the 2nd album in a row they have made that I am not a fan of, but each to their own I guess.

The last line i can't argue with but I have to ask, do you really not like the blackening?

I could see folk not liking locust because they were expecting another blackening but not liking the blackening?

It's their best IMO.

I prefer 'through the ashes' and 'burn my eyes'. Like I was saying in the other thread, the prog style they went to with that album didn't really do it for me (blackening). Too many time changes and riffs thrown into each song just annoyed the shit out of me, in my eyes they aren't 'that' type of band but as long as they are happy doing that then I guess that's all that matters. A nuffy like me isn't really going to change them, but I prefer those other albums.

I saw them live in 01 when they opened for Slayer, they were atrocious but I think Rob and Ahrue were blueing behind the scenes, he left not long after I believe. Robb was pretty drunk that night and his performance reflected it. I am a little baffled that MH are the headlining band on the metal stage at SW this year, I guess they are one of the bigger acts on the bill, I just would have though Lamb of God may have headlined again.

I quite like those kinds of time changes which is Probs why I like the blackening so much.

Haven't actually got to see them live yet, saw LOG 4 times when they opened for Metallica last time out, I don't really get them though, was hoping I'd like them more the more I saw them but after the 4th i decided I wouldn't bother to get there early for the last gig.

Blackening was awesome, their best album since Burn my eyes IMO. I didn't mind Locust not great but hardly worst album of the year material.

Mong, you need to see LOG with their own set up. Whoever was behind the desk for their metallica gigs didn't do them any justice, they sounded terrible at the 2 gigs I went to, if you go to SW check them out again and see if it's any better. I seen them 3 other times and they were excellent.

It's a tie between LMFAO'S album and Michael f**king Buble's Christmas album. The Christmas album wins probably due to the sheer amount of rage it brings inside me, and the fact it made me walk out of JB Hi Fi, a feat achieved by no other album before it.

Anyone who releases a Christmas album is automatically nominated. But they all lose, because Vanilla Ice released an album this year. I don't have to have heard it to know it is the worst album of the year. Lou Reed and Metallica are runners up.

What kind of music does vanilla ice make these days?
