Warriors have had some brillant ones - not all the Warriors fault either and some did rather well financially out of it
Dennis Betts, Andy Platt, John Kirwan (reputationally), Mark Carter, Matthew Ridge, Dane Nielsen, Todd Lowrie, Denan Kemp off the top of my head - Isaac Luke until this year

For all those, there have been Steve Price, John Carlow, Richard Villisanti, Ivan Claery, Michael Luck, Tohu Harris etc

Denan Kemp fits this thread perfectly. Was killing it at Brisbane, came to us and we bombed to Manu on the opposite wing all year. Kemp caught the flu, think he might even have been dropped, put on weight then headed back and his career was never the same.

Geoff Gerard will be hard to top in this one, Leaves Parra at the end of 80 to Manly because he wants to win GF's. Eels win in 81 and then beat him in 82,83. He then left Manly at the end of 85 and they won a comp 2 years later. He was also smart enough to run for the Eels board, which he was part of the team that got thrown out of the club by the New Government. What a lucky merkin.

Kevin Junee.

Left the Roosters at the end of 1973 to sign with Manly for the 1974 and 1975 seasons. Roosters won the Premiership in 1974 and 1975.

Left Manly at the end of 1975 and re-signed with the Roosters for 1976. Manly won the premiership in 1976.
Could add Phil Sigsworth to the list.
Played for Newtown and lost the 81 GF to Parra
Joined Manly and lost the 83 GF to Parra
Joined Canterbury and lost the 86 GF to Parra. And was also sent off
