Worst Career Move Ever?

Go and get your facts right to start with idiot. SKD was accused of that but cleared.
IT was former Souths scumbag Paul Carter that the real asshat here

Perhaps you should get your facts right, idiot.

He wasn't cleared of anything. He was found guilty and placed on a 12 month good behaviour bond.

Kenny-Dowall aspired to finish his career as a one-club man, but the Tricolours terminated his contract after he was arrested in May and charged with cocaine possession. The 29-year-old was placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond but escaped conviction after pleading guilty to carrying 0.29 grams of the drug.

Warriors have had some brillant ones - not all the Warriors fault either and some did rather well financially out of it
Dennis Betts, Andy Platt, John Kirwan (reputationally), Mark Carter, Matthew Ridge, Dane Nielsen, Todd Lowrie, Denan Kemp off the top of my head - Isaac Luke until this year

For all those, there have been Steve Price, John Carlow, Richard Villisanti, Ivan Claery, Michael Luck, Tohu Harris etc

Motu Tony to brisbane. Must have been stoked heading to the glamour club and looking up from the back to see 10 rep players in front of him and run off darren lockyer.

Then a rookie named hunt gets a gig and it went downhill from there

Things changed a bit when Paul Carter was charged and it was understood what really happened
I just get pissed off when people call SKD a druggie when I know the bloke and know he isn't

You will also find that SKD was not going to be a one club man and was going to the Knights before this incident occurred. Paul Carter cost his a lot of money with a reduced contract

Carty demanding an abortion, Hayne chasing his many dreams and pretty much anyone who’s signed with the Titans.

I think it was an inspired decision... has no stigma of being a cheat as he left Sharks to join Raiders for 2011. He hasn't snagged a premiership yet, but he dodged an absolute shitfight.

Well, he won a Minor Premiership with the Roosters in 2015

He obviously thinks that's all you need on your resume as he has signed for Parramatta for next season

Unless wanting a wooden spoon on your resume is a thing?

You seem to be leaving out the part where the lower grades he was dumped to was actually some random QLD Cup side, forcing Joe to relocate or face the sack.

Oh, and the fact you’d signed Craig Wing on huge money despite having no cap space, so needed to push someone out post haste

That's good cap management by Souths

If a player was the best played at the club and utterly disinterested in turning up each week, I'd make him go and play for a feeder club in f**king Macclesfield

Even half a Craig Wing aged 85 would be better value

So if SKD is the opposite to what is reported, he's not a druggie, but he beats women?

Sorry, KBW was correct - Paul Carter was the asshat in that situation, Skidsy was the muppet

The drugs were Carters - SKD was holding them
He was charged with possession - nothing more. He admitted to being in possession but that they weren't his. Bloody tests backed up his claims

Us releasing him was a direct response to the blown up bullshit in the media about Pearce after Australia Day and accusations of there being a bad club culture. There wasn't a bad club culture, there was just Paul Carter.

This is correct.

The funny thing is a couple of years later when Wing was past his best and nothing but a bench player Souths did the same thing to him to be able to afford the fat gronks Taylor and Burgess.

They are a despicable club and writing this has made me upset.

Wing wasn’t forced anywhere. The guy lost a shitload of cash on some golf resort investment and asked for a release to take up a big money japan rugby deal.

Tahu going to union was a career killer. Didn't help that he was released 2 years early from the Waratahs and played one of the worst individual performances in test rugby i've seen

But ultimately it lead to him coming to the Dragons - and my personal opinion is he played his absolute guts out for us while in the Red V.

For a fella I used to jeer in the Tigers Jersey - I actually applaud him these days (apart from two sundays ago FFS!). Much Respect.

Dale Copley went from being a shit player at a big club, to being a shit player at another big club, to being a shit player at a shit club. I guess that's a good move tho...
