What's the worse injury you've seen on a RL field? Just watched the SL playoff game and saw the horrific leg break off Chev Walker (Youtube his name if you haven't seen it and aren't too squeemish!). Amazing thing was he clapped the fans as he was stretcherd off!

I dont know about other sports or countries, but its a common thing for all fans (or most) to clap off injured players. I saw most Parra fans clap off Ashley Harrison the other night.

Worst injuries, George Rose a couple of years ago was pretty bad, but thats quiet common. I slightly remember a test match a while ago, a Kiwi player injured his neck pretty badly. NZ still lost but I think that player got man of the match.

Ashley Graham's was pretty bad when he was playing for the Eels.
Also the Knights guy at the start of this year vs Sharks made me look away because it was similar to a break I had last year

Scott Prince's broken leg when he played for the Broncos. Similar to Tony Caine's. You could hear the bone snap on the tv mikes, and then they had to turn them down so you couldn;t hear the poor bugger screaming.

Richie Barnett v Wendell Sailor- They had a head clash in a NZ v AUS test match. Barnetts face caved in , and he needed surgery and a metal plate inserted..

Sattler's jaw.

If you watch the footage, it happens off the ball, he is elbowed in the jaw, he falls to one knee almost and then stands up, the guy who hit him then grabs him around the head and throws him into the ground, smashing his face into the turf.

Sattler didn't do a great deal in the match after that, but he stayed out there. The few times he got the ball and ran with it there were several blokes there going straight at his head.

He managed to keep the jaw from getting too much more damage by shoving the lower half into his mouthguard, to hold it in place.

You don't see tough like that anymore.

Cameron Ciraldo

Georgie Rose had a pretty bad one in 2007 against Melbourne.

Justin Carney's leg snapping in half was pretty bad this year... especially when you factor in the fact that he reportedly nearly died during the subsequent operation.
