Also Judge Dredd (the one with Stallone). Utter abomination of a movie that completely missed the point of the source material. Luckily the remake was about 5x better on half the budget, shame nobody much went to see it though.

3x at the cinema, have no idea how many times at home

I'm still furious that no one watched it and we're not getting a sequel all because Stallone stunk up the franchise forever.

nothing tops battlefield earth

when the dude get in the harrier jump jets and flies it like it aint no thang. I mean come the f**k on L Ron

are we able to include Kevin Costner's water world in this or isn't that sci fi enough ?

I caught some original battle star galactica on foxtel a while back. I loved it when I was 5 or 6. f**king hard to with through it and buck rogers in the 21st century now

Skyline was pretty awful. I wasn't a huge fan of Deep Impact either.

The last third of Sunshine is f**king terrible.

Gattaca can suck my balls, as can the remake of The Island.

But the rest of Sunshine is so damn good it more than makes up for the dip towards the end (I think the ending itself is great).

Sunshine is amazing. I thought the twist to set up the final third was great but then it wasn't executed particularly well. But it didn't ruin the movie for mine.

2001 A Space Oddessy.

The most boring movie I have ever seen.

Considering the time it was made visually its impressive.
But the praise stops there, its a horribly slow and confusing movie.

The Core is a "so bad it's good" kinda movie. I've watched it far too many times but I enjoy it every time.

that putting the hand in the tree scene in Flash Gordon was awesome

Upside Down.

I really can't think of any redeeming qualities it had, it's a truly terrible movie.

Believe you are thinking of a low-budget flick called Supernova, no?

Anyway, I know its been mentioned a few times but can I just re-iterate the notion that Skyline was the worst flick ever, at least in sci-fi, & maybe across all genres, for all-time.

I'm a Spader fan myself, but that movie was as generic as anything in sci-fi I've ever seen.

The ending was also lame as f**k

I think the original star wars movies deserve a mention for being corny and poorly acted,Mark Hamill acts about as well as William Shatner

tried to watch the originals after the prequels and really struggled with Luke's obsessive whiny nature and personally i was happy to see the end of it.....i just thought it was fairly meh

That said Empire strikes back was sorta enjoyable
