Worst single of the year?

My hate songs for this year:

* Dont Cha - Pussycat dolls - If someone is gonna sing lyrics like "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me"...they at least have to be hot...because this group of chicks are f**king ugly moles.

The lead singer (the one that does all the work while the others do nothing in the background) is hot...haven't seen enough of the other ones to know.

* Your Beautiful - James Blunt - No reason why I don't like it...maybe its too true...or maybe I just hate the guys nasal voice.

I thought it was a joke when I first heard this blokes voice.
How the fug he got a record contract is beyond me.

I'm serious , I thought it was Merrick and Rosso pulling the piss out of some song.
I saw a clip for his new song and it's just a weird.

At least Macy Gray's voice was kind of cool in an odd black chick way.

This dude is just wrong ..it sounds like a cartoon character.

* Kate DERO - STupid aussie idol winner with the talent of a f**king geniused busker, who would still be more entertaining. Something about her out of proportion head that just sh*ts me to tears.

A little harsh, although I'm not a big idol fan, I watch it a bit coz I have friends who like it. 'Leaping Lee' the punk guy should have won. He couldn't sing that well but he was entertaining and actually had some stage presence, which was better than most of them and had cool hair. I remember when I died my hair purple and black once for a Big Day Out concert. Panther colours, you know. 8-[

Actually, I'd erased that James Blunt song out of my mind :lol:. That was a bit much at the time... I felt that if he'd just sang "you're beautiful" once in each chorus, then let the music fill then it would have been a more endearing listenable song.

And what's happened to rock these days. It's all so similar I have trouble differentiating between them. Their sound is just so sterile.

I despise music that sticks to the rigid pop formula without ever threatening to wander. Disgraceful.

So, in answer to the orginal question of worst single of the year, my answer is 'all of them'.
