Just checked - 4 players from the Roos side made the final 4 in the NRL (Tahu, Gasnier, O'Donnell, Ryles). The rest were the best players in teams that bombed. Are you QUITE sure the Tigers wouldn't be in with a chance?

Whilst there is no doubt the Eels beat the Tigers twice, have a look at when those games occurred. Round 1 and Round 7 0r 8? i can't remember. I dont see it as ridiculous.......Tigers are a unit primed all year...the Kangas will have only a few training sessions.

On paper I sont think that the AUSteam is THAT much better,they could have picked a much better team IMO.

AUS does have Johns and Lockyer,what a pair,but Bunji and Princey go OK.

It'do down to the wire.

And to all those knob jox who keep saying that the Tigers are the worst team to win the comp......blah,blah.We will see next year when we have improved even more,so watch out.
