What part of that statement initiated that I was defending the Dragons? You are very correct in what you have pointed out, doesn't make the fact that the Tigers are the most ordinary team in recent memory to win a premiership any less true

so how does if feel to be beaten twice during the year by 'the most ordinary team in recent memory to win a premiership'

Thats a pretty piss poor response from someone who can't think of anything clever and witty to say

A response to the stupidest post in this thread wasn't required.

A response to the pathetic bleating in your "description" was....

Stick the pin back into the nappy and put your thumb back in your mouth mate.

is that it? better game plan.
IS that how brian smith operates "Nathan, Timana, wade....we will win today because we have a better game plan" IS that what happened vs the cowboys.
I am not the one looking for a fight...it is you.
Tiger nick is a devote tigers fan, but he is a realist to know that the tigers wont beat the Oz team.
You just see my name and jump in to have a fish...when in reality you probably dont believe a word of your crap.

And how many realists would have had Wests Tigers winning the comp at February this year?

YOU dont know what would happen in a game between WT & Oz, despite all your waffling on sabb....I certainly wouldnt rule out a result either way.

There are NO certainties in this game of ours, yet you of all people, with a list as long as your arm of incorrect predictions, you just keep on sprouting dribble as if you actually know something, then have a go at someone else for daring to oppose your view.........good one saab.

Well, as long as long you can continue to be convinced by your own importance...

Is this post a gee-up?

I honestly hope that anyone in their right mind wouldn't think the WT would beat AUS

Yeh....a gee-up.

Ans what would you have called a thread in march titled, "Wests Tigers will win the 2005 premiership" ?

I am sorry, i got it all wrong
They are the greatest team of all time. Better than the Dragons of the 60s..better than the roosters of 74/75...better than the eels of 81/2/3....better than the dogs of 84/5...better than the raiders of 89/90/94...better than the broncos of 92/3/8.
I hereby declare the tigers are the greatest team of all time and no one would get within 10 points of them in any game.
Hail the mighty tigers...especially daniel fitzhenry ;-)

Its a stupid Argument

Had Brisbane won the premiership you would have Sabb Dribbling on about how it would be a close encounter

Had the Saints won the comp, the Saints fans would of been saying they would have to be the favourites and OZ the under dogs.

Bottom line is Wests Tigers have won the Premiership, and they dont have to beat Australia to prove anything.

Of course I am, and if you don't think your opinion is as valuable, if not more valuable, than anyone else's here, you're a liar as well as an idiot.

You just continue to denigrate the efforts of the 2005 Premiers and I'll keep laughing at you and your jealousy....

Daniel Fitzhenry scored a try in a winning Grand Final.

How many players out of the thousands that have played First Grade can lay claim to that?

Besides, Scott Minto makes Daniel Fitzhenry look like Gansier, Raper, Johns, Kenny and Langlands combined.

When you gunna grow up saab?
Youre acting like an 11 yo.

YOU wouldve said at the start of the year WT winning the comp was impossible,.

But now its impossible for them to beat the roos?

Highly unlikely I agree, but not impossible.

Thankyou to those users to actually took my post as a serious one. To the others who took the opportunity to beat the person before them by posting an even more creative insult, then I can only say to you that prehaps in the future you should realise that some posts - although they are hyperthetical - are genuine posts.
Im sorry I offended those people.

Meanwhile, back on topic.
Johns would no doubt carve up. But if anything (besides having O'Donnell and Kennedy) the Tigers pack would outplay the AUS pack. Throw the bench into it and I recon the Tigers would give the Australian side a good run. You have to remember that the Tigers used their small size to their advantage.... a big pack doesnt mean you will win.

sorry ink...did i upset you.
My apologies.
I refer back to post 71. The most intelligent post thus far.
Nothing i say will change your mind and nothing you say will change mine. IF you think the Tigers would have beaten or gotten close to the Oz team...thats fine.

a big mobile, skillful and better all round team generally means you win thou Cullus...

the only teams ive seen that would have given the roos a run would be the 94 Raiders team or 98 broncos team, and both had so much representation that it would be almost Australia A, and even so i still think the Roos would have won by 12 or more if they played so its a mute point

I don't think for a second that we'd beat the Australian side, but there are 17 in-form players in the Tigers side, can't say that for the Australian side.
