Wont it be devastating if the tigers lose the world club challenge and they miss the eight.
When then have 1 pommy team and 8 nrl clubs who would beat Australia

Devastating to whom?

We won the comp this year, if we come last next year we will still have won the comp in 2005.

They can't devastate me in 2006, it's aphysical impossibility.

If Johns wasn't in the team i Honestly think Wests Tigers would beat the current Australian team. It's a shame the kiwi's are not at full strength because they would win too.

In other words, looking at yuyr matchups, it would be 38-0 to Aus.
No. On reputation it would be 38-0. On form it would be a lot closer. Im not saying they would win, but im not saying they couldn't win either. I guess you could use the old saying "whoever turns up on the day".

Daniel Fitzhenry scored a try in a winning Grand Final.

How many players out of the thousands that have played First Grade can lay claim to that?

Besides, Scott Minto makes Daniel Fitzhenry look like Gansier, Raper, Johns, Kenny and Langlands combined.

can argue he scored 2 tries, Mander didn't go upstairs when he should have.

Tomahawks give Aussies a fright in USAWednesday, December 1, 2004

Gillette Tri Nations champions Australia recovered from a shaky start to defeat the USA Tomahawks 36-24 in the Liberty Bell Cup game at Franklin Field in Philadelphia on Tuesday evening.

The game, played in four quarters and on an astroturf surface, had been expected by many to be a one-sided affair, but the Tomahawks stunned the World Champions to establish a 12-0 lead in the opening quarter, and by half-time were ahead 24-6 with Brandon Costin leading the way for the Americans.

However, the third quarter saw Australia begin to assert themselves on the game. A second try for Matt Bowen, and further tries from Shaun Berrigan and Matt Cooper brought them level, before Willie Mason crossed for another to put them ahead for the first time and Darren Lockyer's conversion made it 30-24 in favour of the Kangaroos.

Matt Bowen rounded off the scoring with his hat trick try, and Brett Kimmorley added the goal to give a final scoreline of 36-24.

A worthy win for the Australians on the final leg of a tour which has seen them play in New Zealand, Britain, France and the USA, but a positive result too for the Americans who showed that they were not simply there to make up the numbers on a Kangaroo victory parade.

anyone using that as part of this argument is either a dubbo or didn't watch the game.

Australia played the first half at a jog, let the yank fans have something to cheer about for a while instead of seeing their side obliterated, as soon as they actually started trying it was all over.

No comment. The Wests Tigers fans are making themselves look silly enough without anyone else making comment.

They can gloat all they want, it's their right. I don't see how this thread can make Tigers fans look silly. I'm sure these premiers (with several kiwi reps) could match an Australian team full of players who's team didn't win the premiership.

Fact of the day:

CULLUS or KUL, they have the mentality. I don't necessarily disagree with his point its just his galling manner.

The silly banter of 'hahahaha, idiots' and to make an aspersion upon Mini that he likes taking goey, is really childish.

I thought that CULLUS was the mod at the Tigers forum and I was saying it as an ironic comment in light of the puerile way he has carried himself. Passion is cool but saying stupid things is going overboard.

You link the Wests Tigers site in your profile. You must be that poster Kul.

I'm not acting as the emotion police or whoever you sometime drivel about I'm just trying to point out where you go over the line. Otherwise, I've no probs with you.
