It's all a smokescreen. We're actually signing Batista. He is coming off his WWE contract and the end of the year and is said to be looking at options elsewhere. Although he has had an injury plagued career, the 38 year old is really ready to fire.

and it looks like he is bringing his best pal with him, MVP

while he could be promising, he's untried and not worth 150k in his first year

Quite taleneted but yet to dominate consistently at SG Ball or NYC level. Still eligible for NYC for two more seasons, but has already gone walkabout from the club because of homesickness. The Eels have offered him an almost similar deal to that of the Storm and it is believed his family's preference is for him to stay with the Eels.

The Tigers contract offer reeks of desperation. What happened to Taumata and Josh Lewis? Has Wayde Dunley fallen from grace?

Stats from Parras site:
Albert Kelly
Date of Birth : 21 March, 1991
Height : 177 cm
Weight : 80 kg
Position : Five Eighth/Halfback/Fullback
Rep. Honours : Australian Schoolboys 2008; NSW U18 2008
Junior Clubs : Bowraville Tigers

Where are the important stats?!? i want to know:

* Which charity he is associated with
* How many hospitals he visits a week
* What his views are on the conflict in the Gaza strip

they shouldn't waste money on Kelly. He is too young at the moment and he might come good eventually when he gets older but we need someone good now. Orford is coming off contract. Get him and Benji can move back to five eighth. Moltzen and Lazarus can battle for the fullback spot

Until the finer points of Morris' new contract are established, and the impact it has on next year's cap, it's understandable that WT are currently holding off on their recruiting.

Why is it understandable, we need some depth in a few positions, don't wait until the cream is gone?

Any players we have with obvious skills and talents that we need are all playing NSW Cup, becuase they don't fit into the Sheens style player - ie - can play in the back and front row, can cover halfback and five-eighth for Marshalls injury, Morris' shift to hooker etc while Farah is unavailable or playing halfback.

More importantly, can he play in the back row.

titan: Daniel Conn
Eel: Cordoba/ Paulo
panther: Moors

Daniel Conn would be a good signing for you guys, unfortunately he has had a few set backs with injuries and has fallen behind players such as laffranchi, harrison and brad myers. the titans are flying and hard to ctack into that team at present

cordoba: had great promise and us eels fans expected big thingd from him. But i think he became to comfortable with the eels and saw himself as a walk up start each week, now way off the pace.
Paulo: big unit, metre eater. Injuries have him off the pace as well, could be a good signing

Moors: injured and a lil bit soft, had the makings of frank pritchard. and possess the same lazy nature

Good scouting mate. None of these players are what the Tigers need though. Just more fringe players & blokes who have fallen off the pace at a better club. A stack of average players - nothing new for the Tigers fans.

Moors is as lazy as they come.

Moors is in the Ben Te'o class of laziness.

Did you see that lazy merkin the other night?

All he does is hide from anything resembling the hard stuff, preferring to flop 20 times a game to ensure he has stats.

He comes off the field looking like he's played 10 minutes of Soccer. His f**king shirt never needs washing.

Thank Christ they took him off our hands, I've never been happier to see a player go somewhere else.
