Kinda makes me happy knowing Mick won't be taking the bumps again.
He's taken so many legendary bumps that I'd hate to know all the physical damage he's put his body through. Straight off the bat you think of the Taker HIAC match, the No holds barred against HHH at Rumble, Edge at WM22. All his work in ECW, in TNA. Jeeps!
Hopefully he can rest his wounds and still have a comfortable life.

Am I the only one who enjoys the Usos? I think they go alright! We've had much much worse tag teams, and more depth in the division can only be good, right?

Was hoping the mystery opponent would be Kurt Angle. Out of contract and would have fit the US title perfectly. Would have been a nice circle too as Cena debuted during the Angle invitational.
Del Rio is actually a solid worker but for some reason doesn't connect with the crowd.

For whatever reason, management aren't fans of Kurt Angle.

That would have been a cool moment though, a real full circle moment given the nature of Cena's debut. Unfortunately, I doubt Angle would be able to work a full schedule and would probably have as many dates as Sting.

Raw's been better without Cena & Orton in the mix.

I hope so, but they weren't too keen to sign him last year.

It seemed like Kurt wanted to return as well, but word was that Triple H didn't want him for one reason or another. Perhaps in Sting, they felt like they had their legends quota filled? Given how WWE were keen to write Sting out of history (was erased out of the 2014 feature), maybe they'll give Kurt one last shot?

Del Rio is great in ring but crap outside it.

fans don't care about him.

The best thing to do with guys like that, is make them heels who get wins.

Huge fan of Angle, would love to see him return. He'd be a handy inclusion in team Taker...

I think the fans were willing to get behind Del Rio. When he came out as the surprise opponent, he received one of the biggest pops of the night and fans seemed happy when he won the belt.

Unfortunately they rushed him straight into a partnership with Colter which is just awkward and they're sort of doing this tweener run where they're acting babyface but it seems like charade.

Fans don't know what to feel and his opponents haven't been interesting (Truth was a rematch from SmackDown!).

Planned Survivor Series matches have been scrapped and it looks like we've got ourselves an old fashioned tournament to crown a champ.

All I ask is....

A) They stack the tournament with genuine chance guys to make it interesting rather than half of the guys obviously being there for filler.

B) We get a couple of upsets/surprises

C) Cena doesn't get rushed back to become champion

D) They don't just throw the belt onto Reigns in a predictable way

I'm guessing it will be a 4 man tournament, with the preliminary matches opening the show. My guess on the participants:

- ADR
- Dean Ambrose
- Roman Reigns
- John Cena (I predict him to retern early). If not him, then Kevin Owens.

The only saving grace for a Reigns victory would be with the help of the Authority, ala The Rock when we joined The Corporation
