Interesting. I wonder what this means for the future of the WHC. Surely he won't be holder of the title fulltime and only make part-time appearances? It's almost as if WWE is succumbing to his demands and being held hostage for his sporadic appearances.

IMO have him lose at WM, have him use his rematch clause (lose again) and then from there, have him make his part time PPV appearances.

Yep, Reigns wins vs Lesnar, then Rollins cashes in and wins, both Lesnar and Reigns activate their defence clause and 3 way battle for the title at the next PPV is setup.

Hopefully Ambrose wins MITB this year.

Lesner wins and they slow build a feud with someone (maybe Bryan). Use the Intercontinental and US Titles for a year to headline PPV's except SummerSlam and Survivor Series where Brock beats everyone bloody but refuses to take on Bryan. Next year Bryan wins the Rumble and Brock has no choice but to face Bryan at Mania.

The business model at this point means that individual PPV's arent as important as they already have peoples money. What they need to do is convince people to subscribe to the network and the best way to do that is build up a compelling story lines over a long term. A year long feud with a monster champ is proven money.

So this means that the WWE is slacking off due to the WWE Network.

Makes sense.

So this means that the WWE is slacking off due to the WWE Network.

Makes sense.

It means they no longer need to worry about giving the best card possible every month as PPV is no longer their biggest revenue generator. Their business model pre-network meant that they had to draw maximum interest to every PPV as that would decide the kind of month they would have. This meant rushed storylines, high burnout of writers and wrestlers, and a lower attention span of the audience.

Their main priority now is to give us longer, more intriguing programs that mean we are more likely to commit to the WWE product for the long term.

One of the biggest criticisms of the industry since the introduction of the 1st in your house PPV was that nothing gets a decent build up anymore due to their reliance on selling monthly PPV's.

I think the network will eliminate that as people are no longer viewing events out side of the big 4 (RR, Mania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series) as must see, and rather as ways to heighten and build rivalries.

Of course the slow burn needs to be utilised correctly. The Roman Reigns push is an example of how this can be done incorrectly. Had it been done with Bryan, the Lesnar build since WM30 could have been one of the greatest things in wrestling.

I'm seeing something like when ADR beat Swagger at WM, then lost the title the next night to Ziggler cashing in. I reckon Reigns will beat Lesnar. On Raw, Reigns cuts a promo on his win, only to have Lesnar come out and beat seven shades of shit out of him. Rollins cashes in, wins the WWE Title, then we have our feud for the foreseeable future. Lesnar hangs around the top of the card, becoming more of a tweener alongside Heyman, basically destroying both faces and heels to become champ again.

When's the next NXT event?

I'll admit I'm a bit burnt out from watching RAW. Keen for Trips vs Sting though, also Taker Wyatt.

Don't even know what other matches there are.

Knowing the pettiness of WWE (And inparticular McMahons and HHH), Brock could very well hold the title for 435 days to beat CM punks record

I'm looking forward to the ladder match for the IC the most (never thought I'd say that).

So am I. Also strangely i'm looking forward to Cena Rusev. The builds been very old school but has been compelling. Cena suits this role. Just hope they have Rusev win and build him towards a match at Summerslam with the champ.
