Triple H did a magnificent job of putting the new Heyman guy over.

1. Told him to be quiet because the adults are talking.
2. Bitch slapped him
3. Buried his first match by basically staggering around selling last night's injuries.

I'm all for selling the beating Lesnar gave him (although, really, Lesnar took more of a beating than Trips) - but it did absolutely nothing to promote the repackaged McGuillicutty/Hennig/Axel.

I can live with that - sort of pays tribute to his roots without relying on the Henning name. I would have been just as fine with Joe, but this is sufficient.

I haven't seen the segment yet and from what I heard, it sounds like they did a really poor job of debuting him as the 3rd member of Heyman's stable but I don't have an issue with HHH selling his concussion.

Triple H is in his mid 40s and took a sledge hammer shot to the head from BROCK LESNAR - I don't recall Brock sustaining a head shot from ol' sledgy and even so they're both playing different roles.

But yes, from what I've heard, Triple H did a great job getting over the big angle of the evening.

At least we got another great Shield match.

Love the direction they going in, Ambrose as a singles guy, loved him since CZW.
Joe under heyman could be great for him, he has way too much talent bot to be used.

I love that Trips is selling his concussion. Hopefully that sees him off TV a while.

I don't love that Axel's debut was wasted on an angle. Have him beat somebody clean and let Triple H's angle play it almost anywhere else.

Looks like Mark Henry will announce his Retirement, had a great career and was put into some horrible storylines, yet never complained.

First black man to hold the wwe title, please! That promo is why Mark Henry is my favorite. So badly want to see him walk Into Summerslam as champion. I'll be there in my hall of pain shirt either way.

This week's Raw goes to show that if you put together a stacked creative shows, it will get fans speaking.

Why this has been such a rarity since say 2005 I do not know.

Agreed. Obviously you can't have a debut or a huge angle on every show, but even one shock or angle advancement that's a little bigger than 'generic promo' is a start.

f**k Mark Henry! was stoked he was retiring. Another month, another WWE title match I dont give a shit about.

Besides that, pretty fun show. Looks like we're heading for another McMahon rivalry.

In the past I'd have agreed with you, but Henry's heel antics have been great over the last year or so. He sucked me in with that promo and looked legitimately bad-ass in beating Cena down.

If they actually book him strong rather than making him a joke, this feud has my attention.
