It was a strange episode which didn't really achieve a whole lot.
Del Rio/RVD feud sucks. The whole beatdown segment was overkill and just made Van Dam look weak. There is no theme or interest in this angle other than Ricardo is pairing with Van Dam and they absolutely no chemistry together.
The whole idea behind the main event was really confusing and didn't help anybody. Basically, it was one of those ideas where the Helmslys were trying to disrupt the babyfaces plight by strangely giving them what they wanted - an 11 on 3 handicap match against The Shield. The problem is, the match just doesn't work well in the confines of a wrestling angle. It's difficult to support the faces when they have the odds stacked that high in their favour and if any of them fail then it reflects really poorly on them. Clearly, the writers didn't think Van Dam suffered enough tonight and had him lose again - why not rule him out of the match or come in later for a post-match beatdown? Anything would have been better than what happened! Basically the match just confirmed a few things - Van Dam, Kingston, Truth, Ryder, Gabriel & PTP are total jabronis while Bryan/Ziggler/Usos are just okay. Shield are still a decent unit but if they continue to team with The Corporation after this they are morons. The whole segment can be redeemed but the writers are going to have to be extremely smart about it.
Other than that - I really enjoyed the Miz TV segment & Heyman/Punk was fine although at this point I'm beginning to feel a little exhausted. The problem is, this angle needs to end soon but Heyman is just too god damn entertaining to write off television.
