See, I'd be on board with all of the above if it had been portrayed that way. Rollins has been harped on about as the architect for so long now that it's hard to pretend he's not getting the respect he deserves. Cole and co mention it every time he enters the ring.

If they'd teased it recently, rather than teasing it months ago and then forgetting about it, I'd have been on board. As it stands, it just reeks of wanting to 'shock' the audience.

I f**king hate post Wrestlemania season

Rollins was the right guy, but the timing of his turn was definitely poor.

On a meta-level, if they had have gone with Ambrose, it would have felt false. From the way they were telling the story, Ambrose seemed like an obvious red herring and if memory serves there were indications of Rollins turning. While Rollins theoretically would make a better babyface, I do think his character requires a bit more of an edge before fans accept him entirely. Like in ROH, I could definitely see some fan backlash on him, where as I think Ambrose will handle this period just fine.

Storyline wise it doesn't make that much sense because both teams went to war, one side ended up winning pretty convincingly and now one of them decides to turn the day after? What? This is the type of swerve that would be absolutely torn apart pillar to post if it was done in TNA.

I also have to admit that I've never been that emotionally invested in The Shield. For me, they were just a great unit of new guys, no more, no less.

In hindsight, I believe their face turn should have happened at Wrestlemania to even up the odds for Bryan. That would have been an amazing moment and they sort of screwed the pooch on it.

^agree.

Buuut in saying that, it gives Bryan someone fresh to fued with without taking his heat away that a Reigns would. Ambrose is going places, but he needs something far more "sports entertainment-y" I think, more promos, angles etc - use his personality a bit more. I think Rollins in ring will work well with Bryan. He can tone down the flying and work a more mat style which will help him get over as a heel. Interesting times.

This was the biggest issue for me. Why would anybody from Shield want to join the faction they had just comprehensively beaten (and in brutal fashion) twice, and who were now down a man?

Yep, which is why afinalsin's scenario is probably the most logical.

The problem is, Raw drew a low rating last week, business is starting to wind down a bit so Vince is getting desperate.

The turn has generated some water cooler discussion but instead of it being positive, it's very mixed like Lesnar breaking the streak.

At least Lesnar ending the streak made sense. I'd back Lesnar to destroy old man Callaway any day of the week :p

Like most I saw an Ambrose turn, not Seth. Adds to the storyline though, now they have something to work with an build to MitB that takes the spotlight away from Bryan and (cringe-worthy) 'the demon' Kane.

Anyone know why they decided to call him that now?

John Cena jumps on another faces bandwagon. wish WWE would stop adding him to other faces stories trying to get him cheered.

also Sheamus, Orton and Del Rio at MITB. only way they could make this any staler is if they add Rey, Big Show and Cena to the match.

Bo Dallas is fast becoming a favorite.

'He's doing his best'
'One day you'll be a champion... of life!'

Or fighting Santino on Smackdown last week, gets in a quick hip toss then does a lap outside the ring shouting 'I'm winning!'

Love it.

I was a Boliever as soon as his vignettes started airing, it's one of those stupid gimmicks WWE come up with that is actually good.

Not surprised it came from NXT tbh.

Thankfully it translated over better than Emma, Paige & Adam Rose.

There is a reddit with people saying he should have a submission as a finisher and tell his opponent 'I bolieve in you' and 'you can do it' while he has them in submission.

I see Rusev had another squash match this week. What's every bodies opinion of him, will they push on with him or will he fade away into mid card like a lot of these big guys eventually do? For me in all for him staying on tv as long as possible if it means keeping Luna in there lol got to be the best set of legs in WWE.

Yep, I am loving Bo. He's one of the guys that I don't fast forward through. Makes me laugh every week.

Rusev is all good just coz Lana is an awesome character and of course, is hot.
