The script had a very high corn factor - I guess you have to expect a bit of corn from a comic adaptation, but the first two films were refreshingly lacking in that department. Most of Wolverine's dialogue was painfully trite, climaxing in the cringeworthy "NOOOO!" as he held the dead Phoenix in his arms. Then there was Cyclops' melodramatic "STOP!" at the lake shore and Angel's extremely lame wingspan pose when he broke free. Some good visuals, but overall corny and disappointing.
I burst out laughing when I saw that, it was so gay!
I was bitterly disappointed with this film, loved the first two, but X3 was hampered by a lousy storyline and shoddy direction. That f**kwit Rattner should be shot out of a cannon!
